Title: RIP Lil’ Train
Post by: WiregrassTiger on February 25, 2022, 03:15:31 PM
You were phenomenal. Pound for pound, one of the very best in the country. And 1/3 of one of our best wishbone backfields.

I will always remember a run that train made of about 70 yards it seemed, one time. Once he made it past the LB, he headed for the south end zone. I want to say against Georgia but not sure.

Too young.

One of my all time favorites.

One of my best memories is when Bo refused the Sugar Bowl MVP trophy in 1983 and made them give it to Lionel.

Guys like Lionel (and Bo) are what make Auburn, Auburn.
