We're gonna get rained on Saturday. Accuweather calls for about .6 inches during game time.
Does this alter our gameplan? Not the tailgate, I know you miscreants will drink regardless of the weather.
Does our passing game stay under wraps until SJSU catches the pain the following Saturday?

Gotta think we keep that under wraps until K-State. Don't give 'em anything to look at. We should be able to beat SJSU with only 3 plays.

Gus isn't gonna show more than he has too. If in fact he has to use some of Auburns passing artillery, Gus isn't gonna let a little rain stop him. However, I think Gus still wants to jamb the pigskin down Jabbas greasy pie hole with the run game.
My prediction still holds at two TD passes from JJ, splitting the share b/w Sammie and Duke........in the first quarter.

I agree Gus won't open up too much of the play book but I def think we will be throwing the ball mych more than last year's opener unless weather is too bad.
I say that without knowing what Nick passed for last year. But I will guess 175 pass and 250 rush.

Saw a little segment on teh news last night about Shon Coleman. He will be getting his first collegiate start against the Hogs. You know, after all he has been through, I think I will call up Gus and make sure he calls most of his run plays behind Coleman. Theyz gonna be some big running lanes for whoever totes the rock.

I've been reading about this kid but I just don't understand all of the hoopla. I know that he's a good athlete but I can't see how snowboarding is going to carry over into football. He also needs a haircut. Now, if it snows on Saturday and he performs at halftime, that would be great. But I can't see wasting a scholarship simply for the chance of that happening. But I haven't checked the weather today.

I don't know who a wet filed helps but if Johnson isn't able to throw a little early (or throws like he did A day)--this could be closer at halftime than we would like it.

Not if he red shirts, there would be two years between them, and they are still competing for the job at the end of the year.
If he helps to win us a game, I agree with you burn the RS. But why bother when you have Marshall and Johnson back there for us, I just don't see the benefit.
