Passes unanimously.

An early signing period would mean players wouldn’t be able to take any more official visits past the signing day – whether that’s August or December, two months that have been mentioned. If players take more official visits, they would have to wait until February to sign.

This makes a difference for is the Tre Williams, Carl Lawson, Shon Coleman types. Which means, the type of player that is not seeking the drama and attention. The anti-Evans, you might say.

I like it but I don't see it making a huge impact on how recruiting works. It will mainly help the serious minded guys who know where they want to go early in the process. There are likely unintended consequences that we will learn.
