So what's the deal with the 2 NC rings?

One for BCS, one for NCAA. Apparently they do this every year.
Seems redundant to me too.

You mean one for the BCS one for the AP? NCAA doesn't recognize an NC
-
The NCAA allows rings to be purchased for conference championships, bowl wins, and national championships. There is a strict limit on the amount you can spend on each ring. The team got outback bowl rings last year.
Technically speaking the breakdown is one ring is for the SEC, one ring is for winning the BCS Natl Champ Bowl, and one for winning the BCS National Championship.

No. One for the BCS Bowl, one for the NCAA Mythical National Champinship.
-
I'm not familiar with the details of the rule so there may be provisions for division champions or co-champs. The only part of the rule I knew was why we had 3 rings.

I think GH was trying to show remorse for those piggies. Those wounds have just now started to heal.
