Auburn pounded out 17 hits in a 12-6 win over Tennessee in the opener of three-game series Friday night at Plainsman Park.
Maybe we can turn this thing around and manage a decent season...that may be the Cubs fan coming out in me though...

So we lost yesterday after 11 innings.
It was 4-4 until the 11th when Woodall got four runs drilled off him.
Disappointing after a 4-1 lead at the end of the 5th.
Luckie was on fire until he started losing steam in about 5th where he gave up a run, and then in the sixth he gave up three. I'm not saying, I'm just saying he should have come out before the start of the 6th.
Let's hope we can at least get the series win today.

We were down 3-0 going into the bottom of the 8th where the good guys scored 2, and then 2 more in the 9th.
Wish we coulda got the sweep, but I'll take the series win.
