Auburn vs. Northwestern
With Northwestern's wins over Iowa and Wisconsin, I think that's what pushed them to the top of Outback's selection over Wisconsin. I don't guess it'll matter if Iowa doesn't get selected for a BCS at large, looks like Auburn's opponent is set now.

I'm neutral when it comes to Northwestern, but I hate playing that boring, cheese-stuffed, fat-kid infested, ugly, pimple faced state of Wisconsin. What a vanilla school with awful colors.

I think it's funny how a lot of Wisconsin fans were actually pissed that they were going to have to play lowly Auburn in the Outback Bowl. Well, I hope they like Little Havana, because they get to play in a lower bowl, Dec. 29th Champs Sports Bowl, against Miami.

BTW, there's a difference in team's nicknames and team's mascots. Case in point...Stanford Cardinals, mascot is a Tree. Alabama crimson taghd, mascot is a Elephant. Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, mascot is a red blob...spirit thing.

This could be a bit of a trap game for us too. I know that team is excited about the Outback bowl and should take it seriously, but it's hard to ignore the lack of prestige that the opponent Northwestern represents. I lot of times when there isn't a "name" there isn't a lot of respect.
We should win, no doubt, but they do have a game changing QB in Kafka. He reminds me of Matt Grothe from South Florida. He's just a winner, can make big plays out of nothing. It also kind of scares me that they don't appear to be able to run the ball at all, which means they'll be throwing it a lot. They ran 1439 yards on 466 carries, which is only 3.1 yards per carry. Pass defense is obviously not our strength.
