LB Spencer Pybus and DE Antone "Hot Boy" Carter could be taking the field this weekend.  Also, Mike McNerra could be seen taking the field against UT or UA (Arkansas).

Also, we could see Gabe McKenzie cross back over to the DLine this weekend.

You know what?  I had this very discussion tonight about how our D has not been at full strength all season.  If Pybus is ready to fly around, our LB's will improve significantly.  McNurr speaks for itself and a 265 pound DE coming back...could start bringing this unit together in a BIG way.

Ive always thought that Pybus looked like one of the hard nose Penn State LBs. This is all good news and good happen at a better time with some tuff games coming up.

**Update on Pybus**

It looks like he'll be out for the rest of the year due to the concussion that he suffered in the Spring.  He'll be redshirted this year and hopefully he'll be able to play next year.  Also, Freshman Harris Gaston is out with an undisclosed injury.  So, that puts the Scholarship Linebackers down to SIX....I forsee a lot of Nickel Packages, maybe some 5-2 or Dime Packages.

I would normally say a redshirt is better than nothing....but in this case, with Pybus...no shirt is definitely better.
