ARKANSAS

After a bye week, the Razorbacks will be healthy and well-rested headed into Saturday’s game against Georgia in Athens.

But Arkansas has still not been tested. The Razorbacks opened with a 48-10 win over Missouri State and took a week off, while Georgia opened with a loss at then-No. 9 Oklahoma State and edged South Carolina in a tough shootout at home this past weekend.

Razorbacks coach Bobby Petrino is expecting a wild crowd at Sanford Stadium on Saturday, and knows his team will have to play well early to try to take the crowd out of the game.

He said Arkansas prepared differently this offseason because of the slow start to the season. His team lifted heavier and harder and ran longer distances before working on quickness and change of direction.

This week will be the first indication if that was the right offseason strategy.

Last week: Bye week
This week: vs. Georgia, Saturday, 7:45 p.m., ESPN
