Title: Dr. James Brown has retired
Post by: Ogre on August 18, 2009, 04:50:11 PM
It's a sad day for Auburn students looking for an easy A.  Dr. James Brown, the popular professor of Organic Gardening and Vegetable Production, has retired.  At least that's what I read elsewhere.

It hasn't been confirmed, but word is that he caught the Pop Quiz Man in bed with his wife, and that he was last seen stomping on earseworms.

This is the worst news that I've heard all week.  He was a fine, upstanding, Christian man who truly enjoyed teaching the masses about gardening without chemicals...whether if said masses wanted to be there or not.

I sat front row in his class with one of my friends there in Langdon Hall.  He would always talk to the front row-ers before beginning that days lesson.  Of course, everyone in the class could hear these conversations.  He asked where I was from, and I told him Enterprise, Alabama.  From that day on, through the rest of the semester, he would sing this song to me in front of the whole class before starting the lesson:

Dr. James Brown, you will be missed.
