I am actually talking to an ex co-worker on IM about this and they are giving the Pres a pass on this one. I quote

I tried to explain it like this. I can go out on the data center floor and totally fuck up a system. Who does the customer call and bitch at. Me? Nope, he calls my PM and chews his ass out and then it trickles downhill from there. Same principle applies here. If he wants to go around saying "the buck stops with me" then he needs to man up. Oh, he isn't supposed to know every little detail, but I would think that knowing where AF1 and it's backup are would be some good info to know. Just a hunch.
