People from Birmingham love it. Being from New Orleans? Hated it. Overpriced and subpar crawfish. The musical acts haven't really impressed me. I hear LL Cool J is coming this year.

311, ShineDown, Saving Able and Snoop are worth the price of admission.

It is a lot of fun. But its really only worth it if u go with a lot of friends. And have money to burn. It used to be donation only to enter which kicked ass in the day. Things have changed and its now as big a rip off as shitty stages. But I digress, as I am responding to this from waffle house after all.

Rough Night of gettin' ya drank on?

Shoot, I was thinking the 75 dollar thing might not be so bad for VIP tickets... Easier in and out, sitting, drinks provided, food etc... 20 dollars in advance doesn't sound like a rip off at all....
JMO... I'm more concerned about the ease of access and crowds.... The crowds when Snoop came to City Stages was bullshit... There was ZERO control. "Some" elements of the crowd were flat out unable to control themselves and it ruined the whole thing...

The crowd issue and "VIP" is a major concern. Going off past experience the VIP is just as bad, if not worse, than general admission because most people think exactly the same thing. It's always a cluster fuck at those tents. FWIW I think you'd be better off saving your money on those tickets.
That being said, this year will probably be the one year everything goes off without a hitch and you'll be pissed I ruined your chance at having topless women drop crawfish into your open mouth while shitting on a toilet of gold...

Slightly off subject. "Addicted" was the first song I'd ever heard from Saving Able. I'm an old rocker and guitar player and really like the mix of that song, so I checked them out. That CD is as good as any I've ever bought. Absolutely not a bad song on the entire album, which is rare these days. Great mix of acoustic and rock riffs, good vocals and they're actaully helping bring back a lost art in rock, real lead guitar breaks.
They may not be your cup of tea, but that's the best $17.99 I've spent in a while. Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
And yes, teh quote function rabbit punched me.

Will you pinch my tail and suck my head?

Barbri is a fucking break.
For real, it's like a vacation.
Go to class, listen to the lectures and drink all night/weekend.
It worked for me.

I haven't had a boil all year here at the stomp. Too pricey yet. What are they per pound live in the sack in yall's area? Still running abour $2.39 the cheapest I can find around here.
I remember 19 cents per pound. We ate them like pussy at those prices.

They are cheap as shit if you fly them over from California. However, I don't know about the whole swine flu thing yet.
