Title: Jail-O No Mo
Post by: Snaggletiger on June 30, 2021, 03:36:25 PM
Stolt the headline.  Bill Cosby was released today after serving two years of a 3 to 10 year sentence.  The Pennsylvania Supreme Court directed that all charges be dropped and he can't be tried again.  He done.

Regardless of what you believe about him drugging women and sticking his puddin' pop in their vajay-jays, this man has a legit cause of action against the State if what I understand from the Court's opinion is correct.  It appears that after investigating the first woman's criminal complaint against Dr. Huxtable, the prosecutor found there was no evidence other than her word.  And they also established she was far less than credible.  The D.A. agreed there would be no charges filed.

The woman then sues Cosby civilly.  Later, a new prosecutor comes in and uses testimony from some of Cosby's depositions to reopen the criminal case and convict.  The Penn. Supreme Court said you wrong for that, thus pretty much putting the slam dunk on a civil case for Cosby.

That’s what it’s been the whole time - her word. There was never any proof. I felt like a pariah saying this the last 2-3 years. And it wasn’t a popular opinion. Whole thing was sketchy from the start.

The cancel culture crowd would crucify us for agreeing with you. But you right!

Matt Walsh summed it up best: With today's Cosby news, the people who support sending men into women's locker rooms and male sex predators into women's prisons will now shift back to pretending to care about "rape culture"
