In just another of the long line of things that sucked about 2020?
Shabba Doo, the dance sensation who lit up screens in Breakin' and Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo is gone. Dead at 65. I wonder how Turbo is taking it?
Say what you will about his style, the brother could move. As much as I cringe at the admission, I enjoyed Breakin' quite a bit.

I so wish to see some video of you breakin but please do not do any new breakin if the video doesn’t already exist.
I don’t want to feel responsible for you breakin’ your hip.

There is a video somewhere from a talent show in the early 80s where I did a brief impromptu pop and lock with a body shake. I wasn't part of the crew that was doing it. I only remember black Bobby and two other guys who were really good. I sucked, but got in it at the end. I was no Shabba or Turbo. I can look for that.
