Erection Day. The most polarizing election in my lifetime is going on right now and I'm going to have to wait until lunch, or later to cast my vote. I couldn't even turn into the parking lot of my polling place this morning at 7:30. Got to work and only one employee had been able to vote. We're letting our staff off to go vote, staggering them all through the day.
Who knows how this will turn out. The polls are basically useless, as we found out in 16'. Hillary winning easily was a foregone conclusion according to all the data. She didn't and it wasn't close. But here are a few issues for me, moving forward after today.
* Hal-A-Lew-Ya, no more political ads. No more signs, no more billboards. No more trashing your opponent. I am sooo ready for this to be over.
* If Biden wins, I don't think the world comes to an end. At least not to the extent most conservatives think it will. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe we head straight into socialism and a lifetime of work amounts to jack squat. Probably not, though.
* If Trump wins, we can 100% count on rioting in the streets. People overturning cars, looting and burning businesses, basically continuing the pattern of "peaceful protests." For the life of me, I can't understand what these people think they're accomplishing. The only thing that really happens is victimizing innocent people. But it's going to happen. Bank on it.
* If Trump wins, all these assholes claiming they'll leave the country, please, please, please do so. I did see where someone called "Lil Pump" said he'd leave if Biden wins. All the more reason for Trump to pull this out. How would we live without some Lil Pump?
Regardless, tonight is going to be interesting.

I have never had to wait more than maybe 30 minutes to vote since we have been at this location going back to the 2000 Hanging Chad vote...today it took an hour and a half, going at 10am. I love to see this kind of turnout, especially in an already red state.

So California, New York, Texas, Florida and basically 90% of the States can get their votes counted by about 10:00 last night. But a handful of States don't have the ability to process and count theirs? So, when you look at the breakdown of where and why this is happening, it goes a little something like this, and this is from 2 different networks I watched last night til 2:00 in the frickin' morning:
Michigan can't finalize because they can't get the totals from Detroit.
Wisconsin is waiting on Milwaukee.
Pennsylvania just can't seem to count all the votes in Philadelphia.
Georgia is being held up by Atlanta.
Everywhere else in those States got it done. Trump was/is leading in all those States, pretty comfortably in some. But what's the common denominator in all these areas? Overwhelmingly Democrat. And suddenly, they forgot how to run an election?

LOTS of small businesses will shut down if this fool is in. Many won't have a choice.
3. I'd like to leave, honestly. It was just amazing to me how it shut down so quickly. I'm watching the returns and Trump narrows the gap to 25. When I gave up the ghost and hit the rack around 2:00 a.m., there are six states still out, but 5 of the 6 have Trump in the lead. Four of them were right at or well above 90% reporting. Pennsylvania was somewhere around 70% but Trump had 14 point cushion. Nevada, for some reason, was just getting their count going.
So he's ahead this morning in Wisconsin and somehow, Biden makes a "late push" and they've called it for Sleepy Joe. As of right now, Biden leads slightly in Michigan and in Nevada, but by only 8K with 75% reporting. Trump leads by a good margin in Georgia and Pennsylvania. He also has a slim lead in NC. If he takes all three and pulls out either Michigan or Nevada, he's in.

I think it's safe to say that things are about to get real ugly in this country. Granted, it's been pretty damn ugly already the last 4 years. But, what's going on now is what I was afraid of in the back of my mind. If Biden won and there was any hint of fraud, Trump will never go quietly. And that scenario is starting to play out right before our eyes. Let the riots (aka Peaceful Protests) begin/continue.
Is there really fraud going on? I have no clue, but the allegations are coming in hot and heavy. I saw a couple of videos this morning, one purporting to be of the ballot count in Pennsylvania. It shows a guy clearly marking a stack of ballots, one after the other and putting them in a plastic tub. There's no question that's what is happening, but is that fo realz? How easy is it to stage something like that? The other video is of someone named Steve Pieczenik, claiming a huge sting operation is going on, headed by Trump, with the use of "watermarked" ballots. He says Trump knew there would be fraud so they set this up to track all the mail in ballots....and arrests are coming, as soon as tonight.
Any truth to that? My gut says most likely another in a long line of conspiracy theories and this non-story fades quickly into oblivion. Last night, Snagette was talking to one of our neighbors, who told her their daughter lives in Philly and is one of the actual poll workers. This lady told the wifey that her daughter has been summoned to the White House after she went to the authorities with evidence of fraud that she filmed. Anything to it? Again, I have no idea.
These aren't the first, and certainly won't be the last. However, the last 4 years have made me so cynical....and senile. The left has launched a never ending barrage of attempts to get Trump out of office. Corruption throughout the Democratic party has been exposed time and time again, but the reality is that NOTHING EVER HAPPENS!!!! They don't even try to hide it anymore. And 90% of the media are complicit. They loathe Orange Man. He's called them out on their bullshit from day one, and they have made it their mission to portray him and his supporters as evil and racist. I guess what I'm getting to is that Joe Biden himself could come out tomorrow and say, "Of course we fixed the election. We had to get Trump out of office." Would one thing be done about it? Absolutely not. The narrative would be, "Trump bad! Shut up and take it."

The combination of artificially inflated minimum wage (leading to runaway inflation) and the elimination of the small business tax breaks Trump implemented (leading to layoffs and business failures) will decimate the economy. We'll almost immediately lose trillions in tarriffs when he starts giving hand jobs to China, Russia and Iran. Our oil industry -- currently 100% self sufficient -- will be destroyed and we will revert to being dependent on OPEC.
And after that corpse sucks off Fauci and adds on lockdowns and masks, we're looking at an economic implosion that will be unfathomable to you. Because that's what they want. Correct...its whoever is up there that we voted for.....because they represent us and a certain list of ideals generally speaking....As much as I didn't like the Neocon Bush - they did much the same to him his 8 years. My nephew, a 28 year old, career student at Auburn working on his 19th Engineering degree, is a lock step, indoctrinated liberal. As far as I know, he's never participated in any rioting, protesting etc. but any discussion/debate over politics quickly devolves into shouting and blood red veins popping out of his neck and facial areas. I'm relatively new to the bookfaces, having been on there a few short years. We were "friends" for a short time. When the tornado hit the town of Beauregard just south of Auburn a couple of years back, killing several and wiping communities off the map, President Trump immediately scheduled a visit. He and his liberal friends came on FB to rip Trump and say he has no business coming there. I replied that regardless of political affiliation, a President visiting a disaster area and giving hope to people whose lives were devastated is exactly what should happen. I was immediately canceled by my own family.
Obviously, this is not a cool story, bro. I say it to point out the stereotypical liberal response, so filled with vitriol and hate. Had it happened a couple of years earlier and Obama was coming for a visit, most rational people would either say good for them, or at the very worst, keep their mouths shut. But these assholes used a situation where people died and many lost everything as an opportunity to rage against the President.
When Trump was inaugurated, Democrats boycotted and people rioted, overturning cars and trashing businesses. It's grown exponentially worse since that day. Studies have shown that media coverage of Trump the last 4 years has stayed well above 90% with regard to negativity. Actors, athletes, musicians and the like, have spent the last 4 years stirring the pot, taking childish and unwarranted shots at the President. Lebron says, "Fuck Trump". Bruce Springsteen and countless others threatened to leave the country if Trump was re-elected. These are mere drops in the bucket. There's not enough space and time to touch that list.

Had it happened a couple of years earlier and Obama was coming for a visit, most rational people would either say good for them, or at the very worst, keep their mouths shut. But these assholes used a situation where people died and many lost everything as an opportunity to rage against the President.
When Trump was inaugurated, Democrats boycotted and people rioted, overturning cars and trashing businesses. It's grown exponentially worse since that day. Studies have shown that media coverage of Trump the last 4 years has stayed well above 90% with regard to negativity. Actors, athletes, musicians and the like, have spent the last 4 years stirring the pot, taking childish and unwarranted shots at the President. Lebron says, "Fuck Trump". Robert DeNiro called him Hitler as late as yesterday. Jim Carrey paints pictures of Trump being murdered. Madonna called for his assassination. Some washed up comedian holds up a severed Trump head. Bruce Springsteen and countless others threatened to leave the country if Trump was re-elected. These are mere drops in the bucket. There's not enough space and time to touch that list.
And now, in a clearly tainted and fraudulent election, they finally got what they wanted. However, I'm with Token, nothing's going to happen. As I've said before, Joe Biden himself could walk up to a podium today and say, "Yeah, it was fixed. Come on, man!" And that would be the end of it.
The proposal of "unity" is, as several have already said, complete bullshit. I'll echo what so many have said as well. After 4 years of name calling, bitching, griping, cheating, rioting, burning, lying, committing fraud etc. all with a complicit media behind it, you can take your call for unity and shove it up your ass sideways. Will I be marching, protesting or rioting? Will I be in anybody's face? Nope, not in my nature. I just know that these hypocritical bastards can pucker up big time and kiss my entire ass.
All kidding aside it makes a lot of sense to me why your family would block you on Facebook and why your nephew would beat the fuck out of you if he ever sees you again.

Let me give another example of how bad the left and those in the media want Trump gone. Anyone who has been paying attention has heard some of the interviews with Poll workers, post office employees etc. who are making claims of fraud and irregularities in the process. There is also video out there of some of this, and claims of computer programs/software that was used to change votes. Let's just say there's enough smoke out there to suspect a fire is burning somewhere. Let's also say you're an investigative journalist at XYZ or whatever media outlet you want to name. If these allegations are true, is this not the biggest fraud ever committed on the American people in the history of this country? Would ANY media outlet not want to at least look into it?
So yesterday, I'm in a business that has the TV tuned to HLN. (Headline News) The caption at the bottom says two things:
"Trump continues to use social media to push FALSE claims of election fraud." (Tarheel emphasis all my own)
"Trump supporters claim election fraud without proof."
You tell me.

My nephew, a 28 year old, career student at Auburn working on his 19th Engineering degree, is a lock step, indoctrinated liberal. As far as I know, he's never participated in any rioting, protesting etc. but any discussion/debate over politics quickly devolves into shouting and blood red veins popping out of his neck and facial areas. I'm relatively new to the bookfaces, having been on there a few short years. We were "friends" for a short time. When the tornado hit the town of Beauregard just south of Auburn a couple of years back, killing several and wiping communities off the map, President Trump immediately scheduled a visit. He and his liberal friends came on FB to rip Trump and say he has no business coming there. I replied that regardless of political affiliation, a President visiting a disaster area and giving hope to people whose lives were devastated is exactly what should happen.
