13-3 and ranked #22 winning this past weekend's Tiger Invitational.

the ladies travel to knoxville to take on the #6 Volunteers for a saturday - monday series.

kentucky took both games yesterday. still can salvage from getting swept with a win today.

Watched the last 4 innings of last night's game. This is a rag-tag, scrappy bunch without any real pitching or stars. I think they win the whole fucking thing.

I believe it was the 5th inning where CSU hit a line drive beck up the middle and hit the AU pitcher in the face. She was down for a while and they carted her off. She was the 2nd pitcher in the game for AU and the first pitcher had to come back in. I have no idea if this actually happened or not, but someone said there was a possibility that pitcher could qualify for a win and a save in the same game.

Yep, we were just way to short handed at the end of the year. They gave it a gallant effort though. Well played ladies!

I actually think either one works, personally, I have always attributed valiant to something done on a battlefield. ie Valor (a soldier has valor). But since you seem bent on correcting I posted my FYI.

The only one out of those that bothers me is the Harris girl. She was a helluva pitcher. i know she is from a ways off, but it looked as though all was well with her. Is the new coach hurting too many feelings?
