Pussy Galore one of 3486 women worldwide to charge James Bond with sexual harassment.
According to her testimony:
James Bond confronted Miss Galore in a barn. His aim is to have a figurative and literal roll in the hay. She is reluctant. He confronts her in an aggressive manner. When he attacks her, she responds flipping him on his back. Bond is not deterred. With both of them on the ground, he forces a kiss. She struggles beneath him before, inevitably, giving in and returning his embrace. He gets pussy. Galore. She has eleven orgasms.
Today, she sees those orgasms as abuse. Red flags go up, sirens go off, many triggered by our modern sensitivities on the topic of rape and sexual assault.

ESPN a pit of sexism, hostility toward women: report.
That's a headline up on Fox News. Good Morning America was doing a report this morning on additional women saying Dustin Hoffman exposed himself to them 164 years ago. It's become a daily part of the news.
When I leave the office, it's become the norm for me to throw out a horribly stupid pun before I walk out the door. "6:30 is the best time of day, hands down." Yesterday, I told one and when I got in the Ford F-150, I thought someone might be offended after I said, "Two deer walked out of a gay bar and one said, I can't believe I blew 40 bucks in there."
Knowing my employees, I'm sure they weren't, but 5 years ago, that thought would never have crossed my mind. Now, it's like people are begging for an opportunity to be offended.
-
This, I don't get. Okay, now it's a woman that's at the center of a sexual harassment claim. But, not so fast. Suit was filed and settled 12 year ago. Why is this an issue now? Why would you drop out of the race? Suits are public record. This wasn't a secret. Anywho...foxy.
A rising liberal star running for Congress in Kansas has dropped out of the race over a 2005 federal lawsuit in which she was accused of sexually harassing a male employee whom she supervised.
Andrea Ramsey, 56, of Leawood, was looking to challenge incumbent Republican Kevin Yoder in 2018 in the Kansas City-area 3rd District but announced in a Facebook post that she would be ending her campaign Friday.
Ramsey called the allegations made by her former employee at LabOne, Gary Funkhouser, “a lie.â€
“Twelve years ago, I eliminated an employee’s position,†Ramsey wrote. “That man decided to bring a lawsuit against the company (not against me). He named me in the allegations, claiming I fired him because he refused to have sex with me. That is a lie.â€
Funkhouser worked under Ramsey at LabOne where she was an executive vice president of human resources. Funkhouser claimed Ramsey came on to him in 2005 during a business trip, the Kansas City Star reported.
“After I told her I was not interested in having a sexual relationship with her, she stopped talking to me,†he wrote in a complaint. “In the office she completely ignored me and avoided having any contact with me.â€
Funkhouser claimed Ramsey had his work station moved out of her office.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission closed the case on Funkhouser’s claims, stating it was unable to determine if any “statutes had been violated.â€
Funkhouser then sued LabOne in federal court and both parties agreed to dismiss the case in 2006. Multiple sources told the Kansas City Star that Funkhouser and LabOne had reached a settlement.

Gene Simmons sued for harassment.
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/radio-personality-sues-gene-simmons-groping-harassment-article-1.3702467
In response to the suit, the attorney for Mr. Simmons said: "Have you seen a KISS video? Read the lyrics to any KISS song? Seen Mr. Simmons in any interview in the history of humanity? This is akin to suing a lightbulb for emitting light."
Mr Simmons himself had this to say:

That defense will probably fly for the mid-interview "innuendos" but it's worth fuck all for the off-air groping the “'forcibly flicked/struck' her in the throat" parts of the suit.

The defense was mine and made up.
All I'm saying is that Gene is a known snake. He makes no pretense otherwise. If you choose to be in the company of a snake, you cannot be offended if that snake bites you.
Most of this is fucking ridiculous to me. But suing Gene for being Gene and doing what he does, has always done and will always do -- because it's part and parcel of the public persona he projects? Asinine.
Colin Firth sticks his tongue out near your neck for a photo then that's unusual behavior. If Gene DOESN'T that's outside the norm.
There was no "groping." That word has been stretched to include even the most mundane acts. Being highly offended and outraged at pretty much EVERY traditional male behavior is destroying the gender. That's an argument for another day, however.
-

His carefully crafted character is not carte blanche to act like a sociopath. Fiction remains just that.
There was no "groping."
There is absolutely no way that you can know that.
-
SOCIOPATH? Jesus Christ, dude.
He's been doing this act for 50 years. The leering, politically incorrect, sexual god. It's part of who he is. The guy loves this country, loves his wife, loves his kids. But when he's in public he's ALWAYS "on." He's always Gene Simmons. It's nothing new. For this fucking bitch to sue him for doing what he's done pretty much every day for the last 50 years -- and what she knew she was getting in the first place -- reeks of golddigging. Fuck her.
As for there being groping or not? You can't say with certainty that there was.
I've met Gene three times and in each of those instances he put his hands on me in some way or another. I guess I should sue the sociopath.
:taunt: :taunt: :taunt:
-
That character can be carried off without physically battering someone.
I never said there was groping, only that you could not definitively say that there was not.

“forcibly flicked/struck her in the throat"
That's textbook battery.
Perhaps those old coots that wrote our criminal statutes were just a bunch of hypersensitive snowflakes.
So, to my point, Gene's character doesn't have the artistic freedom to commit crimes (no matter how minor) in furtherance of his commercial enterprise.

Gene should just buy ashro, dress in casual sets and stop offending the citizenry.
And he could be the cock o the walk in an urban electric blue Sunday suit.

Jerry Richardson selling the Carolina Panthers.
At this point his evils consist of using a racial slur (who hasn't?) and making some suggestive remarks (who hasn't?).
The guy is from all indication a decent person. A rich guy who built the Panthers from scratch and turned it into a billion-dollar enterprise. Involved in the community. Altruistic. Engaged.
And now because of a few comments, he's trash.
This line from an article in USAToday infuriates me:
But sexual harassment outweighs any good he’s done.
At what point are we going to step back from the ledge and stop being offended by EVERYTHING? Bawling "sexual assault" at every remark diminishes those acts that are truly assaults. It's like Gomer Pyle braying "citizens arreayust"
A man works his entire life and does mostly good. But he allegedly makes a few off color remarks and he must be banished from society?
Pathetic.

So I'm sure wes will want me locked up but...
Had a Christmas party tonight. I wore a Griswold hockey jersey to the event. On the way, I had to stop by the ABC store. I walked in and a flirty older lady behind the counter said "Well hey there, Clark!" When I went to check out, she said "anything else you need, Sparky?" And before my brain could stop my mouth I heard myself say "bend over and I'll show ya..."
I'm sure I've violated some penis code in wes' mind.
