Title: 2016 rankings
Post by: AUTiger1 on February 10, 2015, 11:38:06 AM
Do any of the recruiting services have an early 2016 rankings for the state or national rankings?  We need something to talk about.

Never mind I found it.

https://rivals.yahoo.com/Auburn/football/recruiting/rankings/rank-3554;_ylt=AjMQNblYYHhnN8N7Ud1FEac9rJB4 (https://rivals.yahoo.com/Auburn/football/recruiting/rankings/rank-3554;_ylt=AjMQNblYYHhnN8N7Ud1FEac9rJB4)

Are we in on any of these kids early?

By "in on", do you mean in a gay marriage kind of way?

Of course I do, I fully expect our coaches to be "in on" these kids.  What did you think I meant?

I know we have a shot at Malik Miller from what I read back when we were getting a commit from Kerryon.  Ben Davis is a Bama lock.  He's a legacy, like Flounder.  GH, what about John Broussard?

I am curious if Wilson is going to commit to Lord $abans.  Since he is a 5* LB.  If he does that, then what would our chances at landing Davidson would be, or can JJ talk to these guys.

Probably because out of the top 15 players in the state only two are on O and they are RB's.

Heavy presence in Georgia. Little if any in Mississipi`. We have an all-star team of recruiters and bagmen at the ready.

Broussard will be a Au/Bama battle I've heard. Although Bama hasn't offered. Not sure why either. Dude is a stud. Looked good in every game I saw last year. Man amongst boys on the D but he looked very human when they played that stud team from Florida. In person he looks very long and lanky. I think UGA may be in the mix as well with the state border being about a mile away.

The 2016 signing class talent, in Alabama, is very heavy on the defensive side of the ball...offensive side? Not so much.

There are two WRs at Clay/Chalkville I bet gets much more attention come this season.

I'm sure there'll be some offensive prospects that get attention, like the RB outta Hamilton and another RB named Malik Miller (iirc), but the defensive side of the ball is packed with some top tier prospects. That, plus Auburn will continue to dip into Florida and Georgia and pluck their top tier prospects.

What do we need, in the upcoming signing class?
QB (1)
RB (1-2)
FB (0-1)
OL (2-3)
TE (1-2)
WR (2-3)

DE (3-4)
DT (3-4)
LB (2)
CB (2-3)
S (1-2)

Something like that?

al. I am a gay twerker that has no balls!!!!  I also have no idea how to use the quote function to post stories, so I annoy the piss out of others.  I like male genatalia in and around my mouth. update on John Broussard

Auburn has ramped up its pursuit of John Broussard this year in an effort to keep the cornerback from LSU.

Broussard visited Auburn Tuesday afternoon and Tigers defensive coordinator Will Muschamp made a big impression on the Central-Phenix City star. Afterwards, Broussard told 247Sports Auburn and LSU are now his co-leaders.

"(Auburn is) recruiting me very hard," Broussard said. "They're at the top of the list. Everybody knows it's a great school. Now, they brought in some great defensive coaches. I like Auburn and the atmosphere when I go there. I get a lot of love from everyone. I have a great relationship with the coaches."

In addition to Muschamp, Broussard said Gus Malzahn and new defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson visited him in January. His next visit to Auburn will be February 17 or March 7.

The 6-foot, 175-pound Broussard has family close to Baton Rouge, La., a big recruiting advantage for LSU. He recently visited Alabama for the Crimson Tide's Junior Day, but did not receive an offer. Michigan offered Feb. 3.

Last fall, Broussard announced his intentions to commit to Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky or LSU on Dec. 18, his mother's birthday. He then pushed the decision to May.

Broussard is ranked as the state's No. 4 overall players and the nation's No. 7 cornerback prospect in the 247Sports Composite. Auburn signed three cornerbacks in the 2015 class -- Jeremiah Dinson, Carlton Davis and Javarius Davis.

He liked bama and auburn last year. But it's hard to stay interested in a school that isn't offering. I imagine they'll swoop in around November and become a player.
