Title: Obama Equates Our History with Muslim Atrocities
Post by: Tiger Wench on February 05, 2015, 05:22:07 PM

"Unless we get on our high horse and think that this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ," Obama said. "In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ."

This is 21st century, Mr. President. Not the 1200s, the 1400s, the 1800s or even the 1960s. This is the century of the internet and space travel, of education and reality and science instead of superstition and ignorance. Equating burning people alive during the Inquisition with burning people alive YESTERDAY - what the hell is that? Offering even the slightest hint of understanding or justification for these barbaric atrocities is not the position the so-called Leader of the Free World should be taking. The only thing the United States and the other countries who lost citizens should be taking right now is "AIM".

The last time evil of this magnitude reared its head and attempted to slaughter its way into world domination in the name of an ideology, the entire world came together, manned up, and sent vast armies across an ocean to wipe it out. We didn't tolerate the Nazis - WHY are we tolerating these bastards?

Because not only has the American public, but the entire population of the world turned into a bunch of softies. Back then we did not care about hurting feelings. The only thing that mattered was that you they struck the U.S. and we struck back time an time again until we put those bitches in their place. Not until we sat down and talked about how this is going to make Amersica look like a bully. Until we the American people grow some balls and realize that war is war, it is ugly but you do what you have to do to get the job done. That means that innocent people will die. And while that sucks, it's just the cruel reality of it. ISIS will continue to do what they are doing and get away with it.
