... You are free to go. I know, someone, or a "good number" of people from AUN were scammed into coming here via covert militaristic, and or spamtastic methods that really crossed a line somewhere, ummmm....well, SIX FUCKING MONTHS ago.
Just know that Titan Tiger, and a few of the ownership co-parts at AUN have cleansed the demons, such as myself and a few others from ever going to that site again, because seriously... Inviting a few folks here via their PM system, really choked off a good amount of respect somehow. I mean really... A personal invite????? ....TO look at our site here at the X.... C'mon! What were a few of us thinking!?!?! That's just pure debachery! MADNESS!
So since, it was in "a good number" of people's interest (according to Titan, the poor abused, captain E-penis) to complain about this.... 6 months ago...... He made sure that EVERY FUCKING FORUM AT AUN HAS A PINNED WARNING about the endless spam you've recieved ...umm.. 6 months ago! If you are here against your will, then you are free to get your happy asses back on the vegetable cart back to fucktard heaven.
Please note that this is not an Auburn issue. We ALL love Auburn, so in other words, stick your holier than though, I'm a better Auburn Man or Woman dribble and stick it back up the poop shoot it came from. This is about supposedly "men" not being able to handle the fact that after screwing others out of money, opportunity and proper decorum, they were going to have to answer to those "screwed" individuals. SO their answer to it all is to act like it never happened, and bury it buy banning the lot of them.

AuChizad and myself have been banned from Aunation for inviting some Bammers to join our site! So typical of how they run that fucking site, its like a dictatorship. This site was born because of the heavy handed moderation at Aun, so I say game on. This thread will be an open book to all the dirty laundry that Aun has deleted and banned. :clap:
In reference to the "Unsolicited PMs" message pinned in the Football forum, it has come to the attention of the administrators that you, AUChizad and jumbo, were the ones doing this the most. stoic, David and I have talked about this for a few days and come to the decision that as a result, your Barn privileges will be revoked. Should we find out that you or anyone else continues to use our PM or board email system here to continue to solicit for another site, you'll be banned.
It simply wasn't necessary for you guys to do this. If you enjoy your board, great. If you want to tell people about it, great. But don't walk in our doors and use our member list for your recruiting efforts. That's not cool.

Weird, no one came out even over there over there and admitted to being annoyed by these unsolicited PM spam messages.
Of course they only had a window of about 30 minutes before all existence of threads pointing out the AUN mods' hypocrisy and overblowing of the situation were quickly eradicated.

This is how it went down.
The handwriting was on the wall. David, Stoic and I were talking. There were originally 19 shares in the owners group. Five of them resigned their shares leaving fifteen. Of the fifteen, we held the majority of the shares and had no desire to continue the way things are and just wanted some peace and for the site to revert back to the previous way of managing it. We had a pretty good idea how a few of the others felt about it as well. A dissolution was inevitable.
Now, as far as how David handled it...even though I agree with the view that this is what was going to happen and what needed to happen, he jumped the gun. My plan was to do it in a more formalized manner and make sure everyone knew what was happening. Propose we go ahead and end it and be done. So the abruptness of it caught me off guard a little. He unnecessarily ticked you, Esquire and Jenny off. But the end result wasn't changed. I'm sorry about that.
I probably let some of what I read over at itsnotbanned influence my temperament over this. I was pissed and a little shocked at the vitriol and even though I wouldn't have done it the way he did, it didn't exactly hurt my feelings either. There was no intent to screw any one out of money. We discussed how to do refunds and such. This whole thing though has been a disaster and needs to go bye bye.
So, Basically, What you are saying is that regardless of the people that helped to save the website, regardless of all the help people gave via the owners group...David wanted to absolutely screw others out to get back his site so that he could do what he wanted?

No. It wasn't him trying to get back his site. He was ready to just bail on the whole thing but didn't get what he thought it was worth for all he'd invested in it. Me and others didn't want the site to die and we didn't want it to become what itsnotbanned is or anything even resembling that. We had multiple people resigning and a solid majority wanting to go in a different direction. So the idea was to propose dissolving the LLC, preferably sooner than later. It wasn't a matter of if, it was a matter of when.
The stuff over at itsnotbanned threw a whole other thing into it and I'm sure pissed David off which is probably why he just said screw it, dissolve it and be done.
As far as screwing others, I'm still not clear on what you're screwed out of. You said yourself the shares are worth $0 and the most anyone was paid in advance was 11 days (the end of this year). Refunds would be done so no one would be losing that. I guess you were screwed out of getting to give your assent? I'll go along with that. And again, not the way I would have played it. But here we are.
The question now is, how do we do this even though several of us are rather pissed?
Why, if David wanted out, Did he post he was taking a break, then proceed to post more than he has in a month. I don't buy that at all. David didn't want to leave, David got called out on his bluff. You know as well as I do that David was offered money for his shares twice. Twice, and did nothing. He purposefully ignored offers, and he wants out? Please explain. I can pull up the posts and show you.
Let me preface this, The motherfucker wanted us to pay him $2000 so that he could fucking pay off a credit card. $2000 fucking dollars as we were paying into the site already. What a fucking dick.
David didn't get what he wanted for them so he didn't sell. Plus others didn't want him to go. They wanted him to stick it out and urged him to stay involved. That's why he posted that then kept contributing to the site.
The bottom line is, we both agree this is no way, even without today's dustup, to run a site. It's too unwieldy, especially with such diametrically opposing views on how things ought to be. So what do we need to do to end this thing? You said if someone would give you the truth, you'd stop all this. I don't know how I could have been more straightforward with you than I just have been.

They forced members to resign after banning OWNERS for absolutely no reason, while coddling their favorite son bammer posters.

Pretty much all of the owners except the select few that chose to suck David's dick realized how ridiculous it was when he posted the infamous "The Auburn BOT and Athletics Department is evil. We must stop them to save Tommy Tuberville's job" message on behalf of AUNation that was based nowhere in reality. Anyone who said "Hey, that was a bad idea, let's not post that, felt the wrath of the drill press and was forced out.

A good number of our members have forwarded PMs from members of this board asking them to join another Auburn message board.
We think we have a pretty good site here at AUNation. A balanced approach to moderation, simple "act like an adult" rules that mostly cover nudity, namecalling, cursing, and talking down 17-23 year old kids.
The other site is made up of some current and former members (one or two banned ones) and former moderators here and has a much looser standard of conduct. There's some not-so-pleasant history there and we just have very different visions of the kind of community we want to have. That's fine. The day that site opened, one of the members there asked and we posted a link here in the Football Forum to it.
Now, we don't have a problem with people wanting to be somewhere else. No site can make everyone happy. And we don't have a problem with competing sites. Everyone has their niche and many of us post at multiple AU sites. But using our private message system to secretly recruit people for another site is kind of lame.
So to the people involved: We've done enough to help you with traffic. Kindly do your recruiting without annoying this site's members by sending out unsolicited invitations. Thank you.

The original owner was bitching he was going to shut down the site, that the money he spent on AUN was keeping him from feeding his family. Several of us stepped up and offered to help underwrite the costs of the board in exchange for haivng some say-so in how it was run. In a nutshell, we paid our money, he took the money, and nothing else changed. The site never made a penny, but we were actually okay with it. However, he did what he wanted, said what he wanted, etc. and that started pissing us off.
The straw that broke the camel's back was that without the input or consent of the financial contributors, he got the AUN Ownership group invoved tangentially in the fight between CTT and the University during his contract negotiations, using his so-called "inside-contacts-that-he-couldn't-identify-but-trust-him-they-are-really-important people-no-really-they-are-in-the-inner-circle-and-they-talk-to-me-because-I-blow-them-am-the-all-important-owner-of-an-Auburn-fan-website." Needless to say, the rest of us did not appreciate the involvement in a private matter between an employee and his boss, and told him so. We rabblerousers got banned, suspended, had our owner administration "powers" (for lack of a better word) removed, and were generally shat upon because we called him out and told him that he was not the unilateral decision maker for AUN any longer.
So most of us quit. I myself have not been back over there one time since sometime last year, and I won't go back until David is no longer associated wtih the site in any way, shape, form or fashion. I still like a lot of the people that post there, but I will not go back.
I honestly think this little war between AUN and The X is stupid on both sides and wish it would just stop. I love it here at the X - most of the people I love and care about are over here now and that is enough for me - and should be enough for everyone else too. it sounds like two little girls squabbling over which of them is going to be the new girl in school's best friend. Why do people have to choose sides? Can't people post both places if they so choose? Just because the original members here (myself included) could give two shits about the other place and their management, doesn't preclude anyone else from going both places.
Having said that, why are we even discussing them over here?
I have said my piece and counted to three, and I am done.

I went a checked out of curiosity and it doesn't say you are banned.
Now Chizad and Chop on the other hand...they get a big ole "Banned" under their username.

I was surprised and dismayed at the treatment of a particular group of owners at the hands of the site's founder and his minions. I voiced my displeasure and became a target for their moderation. The point of contention was in the dissemination of the facts behind the falling out. The side with the ability to re-write the history books refused to allow any conflicting accounts to be made public.
I violated no board rules, but repeatedly had my posts altered or deleted. I again voiced my displeasure and my posts were again altered or deleted, rinse and repeat. At one point I could not post without a moderator (presumably TitanTiger) approving my posts first. Let me reiterate: I violated no rules. There was no nudity, profanity or other prohibited speech. When I challenged TitanTiger to justify his latest assault upon my board privileges he simply said that the moderators have the ability to do what they deem necessary (note: he was not able to point to any rule that I violated, which would have necessitated moderator interference).
I finally had enough of being treated as though I were a child and requested that TitanTiger delete my account. I have been AUNation free for a long while now and it feels good.
I hereby offer the floor to TitanTiger to attempt to retort.

I stayed around just to lurk, and post maybe once a month or so to shut a bammer's idiocy down with a one sentence post. I felt it my duty, as no one still over there has the wit or intelligence to do so, but rather let the bammers run the asylum. I did this until the tragic events of 8/20 (Nevar Forget) in which I was de-Barned for the great PM scandal (of 8 months ago). Again, no rules were broken, except trying to offer facts that dispute the pathetic claims of libel he stickied in five forums.
