Yeah apparently you have never watched it. Agree with not caring a bout Shaun White, but the sport is awesome. Have you ever tried to snowboard? If you can even go up or down a pipe, hell I'll let you do it on a skateboard, if you can stay on the board without falling.... then you can say something about it.

I realize, still didn't think he needed to go YOLO on first run though. Should have done a solid first run then if needed tried for YOLO in the second. I think the judges wanted to give it to him.

no. i think (confidently) he would have done that regardless of the conditions. also, i don't believe the pipe was getting worst. if anything it would be firming up through the night. iPod has been on his coattail for a couple of years and it was a matter of time. no doubt Shaun is the greatest and still is better than the competition except for last night.
the daytime @ 60f made it shitty conditions. he has boarded on those conditions before up at mt. hood, oregon ...it was nothing new just not what they like for competition.
the Sochi Olympic was an abortion gone wrong.

I also can't climb a brick wall like spiderman, wear size 10 boy's jeans, carve pictures in a rock with a chainsaw, put 40 marshmallows in my mouth at one time, balance five baseballs on top each other, make ice cream out of donkey dung or speak ancient Swahili. Doesn't make any of those things sports either.
Just for the record I loathe the Olympics. Always have. Summer and winter. Hate it all. The one and only exception was the hockey thing in 1980. That I got behind like everyone else did. The rest can go blow a penguin of hump a llama. Wouldn't care if it never happened again.
