Book was pretty good.  Written from the perspective of a journalist, some years after the Zombie war, interviewing people and their experiences.

I'm not quite sure how the movie is going to.

Soooo the zombies are...what?  What are they?  Just people sprinting at you to kill you? 

Yeah I wasn't feeling that either.  Zombie movies and shows should be personal.  Small time.  An action film with the military taking on zombies doesn't really interest me.

I tried so hard to like this book - but I just could not get past the first few chapters.  Lots of other similar books out there to enjoy.
