Title: Special Sauce
Post by: Snaggletiger on August 15, 2012, 12:41:51 PM
We grill a lot of steak and normally, I just like the flavors of whatever I happen to marinate them with.  This past Saturday, I worked up a little sauce I use every now and then to pour over them when I get them off the grill.  I only do this with filets but I think it would be fine on ribeye as well.  Simple, but something different.

Got a frying pan and mixed:

Red wine

Portabella mushrooms

Sour cream

Garlic

When you've got that reduced down, at the very end, add blue cheese crumbles.  Immediately pour over the steak.
