Title: Canadian Football Is Still Football...Right?

Courtney Taylor is back on the field...with the BC Lions.

Apparently Demond Washington plays for Winnipeg.

Two guys that were key players during their time on the Plains.  I really hope they can parlay these gigs into bigtime ball.

Unbelievable that CT is able to be successful in a professional league while also battling multiple sclerosis.

I'm glad he got a couple years in the NFL first, hopefully he was able to save up some of his paychecks. He was always a bright guy so I assume he did.

Since the league is so small, I perused the list of active players. Here are names that I recognized:

Juwan "Ice Cream" Simpson
Jock Sanders
Gerald Riggs, Jr.
Ronnie Prude
Adrian McPherson
Dan LeFevour
Macho Harris
Noel Devine
Ahmad "Batman" Carroll
Stephen "Pass Me That Bottle" Garcia

Surprises me that Devine didn't catch on somewhere.  That little guy is shitcherpants quick.

They're getting paid to play ball.  That's not a bad gig by any stretch.  Granted, it's only about a 1/10 (average salary) of what NFL ballers make, but still, enough to pay some bills.
