Is it going to be based off the comic or the TV Show?

Have not seen.  Just figured it would be off the comic.

Are there going to be any interpersonal-socio-relational scenes along with character development?  'Cause that sounds like a blast!

98% of video games based off of movies and television series suck.

Unless you've got GameFly or something similar, I'd stay away from this.

I like where this is heading....

Looks like it's going to follow the line in the comics closer.

Dude, I'm telling you...don't get too excited.

The company that's making this also made a "Law & Order: Legacies" game.  If this were a production of Rocksteady or Treyarch, I'd probably still be wary of it due to the trend of game adaptions of movies/series being failures, but I'd at least wait until it was released to pass final judgment.

But a game from Telltale?  I call it a flop right now.

Meh...talking about how it's based on the comic doesn't mean it will be a good game.

These guys make shitty games.  Unless they've recently added new people or have done some sort of amazing overhaul to their company, a great script alone isn't going to save them.

Aside from that, Telltale is known for "episodic" games that have frequent updates.  You don't initially get a full length game that might have a few updates later; you get an initial two hour "episode," and then might get another one next month or whenever they get to it, if they even decide to continue it.  But, of course, you pay for each episode.

I would be extremely surprised if this game winds up being decent, much less good.

Quote
Telltale's The Walking Dead will launch the first of five episodes for $5 on PSN, PC and Mac, 400 Microsoft Points on XBLA, or as part of a $25 season pass from the Telltale online store, starting in "late April."

Pre-ordering for PC and Mac through the Telltale online store makes the five-episode bundle 10 percent off, $22.50, and enters pre-orderers into a contest to be drawn into the fourth episode as a human survivor who is turned into a flesh-frenzied zombie.

Just what mamma always wanted you to be.

Going to really need to see a demo for this one before I commit 25 bucks to.  If it were $5 or $10 for an entire game, maybe an impulse buy.  But at 25?  I'll pass.
