Was checking early lines and came across some interesting numbers. 'bama is the favorite to win the SEC at +150 and are +450 to win the BCS, Lsu is +300 and +800, Arkansas' numbers are +800 and +4000, and Auburn is +10000 and +20000. You would think that comparing the numbers would give you a somewhat similar multiplier, but they are all different.
I also violated my rule on betting on Hog games when I saw the early line against 'Bama at +9.5. All the early money seems to love the Tide, I don't see it. That line will probably be down less than 7 when the game rolls around. The line for the iron bowl is currently at 10.5, which also seems high to me.

I am also violating the rule and have picked AU at 7 wins for the season.

Who set these lines, Danny Sheridan?

I'd put 7 figures on that.

I have every confidence in him. If he says it, you can take it to the bank.

The lines came from Sportsbook.com. I also took the over on Boise/Georgia at 51. Not sure who wins, but I think they score some points.

Have to disagree. I think the UGA defense can keep BSU from scoring too much, but the dawgie offense is going to be abysmal. I'd go under 51 without a moment's hesitation.

I'm going with AU at 10-2. The baby Tigers will shock the SEC west

If Auburn goes 10-2 this year, I predict another national title within the next 3 years...
