Title: Malzahn to remain at AU longer than expected?
Post by: wesfau2 on May 24, 2011, 10:45:50 AM
"Somewhere down the line I want to be a head coach, but I'm not in a hurry," said Malzahn, who turned down Vanderbilt and had his salary doubled at Auburn to $1.3 million annually. "I've got two daughters who go to Auburn, one is a senior and one just started summer school as a true freshman.

"I'm real happy there. When you have players that believe in your system and some very good coaches helping you, it's a lot of fun."

We need to introduce Malzahn's younger daughter to some bad influences.  Make her flunk a couple of years, and quit this summer school stuff.  Maybe a graduate program after she graduates so she can hang around for 7 or 8 more years.

Gus stays through Frazier/Pike.
That would be at least eight years total as the OC.

Everybody must realize, surely, that if the offense doesn't produce as much next year as this, he'll be nothing more than he was to begin with: a HS coach with a gimmicky offense.

Surely someone will run him out of town. We can't have 49 year old has-been geniuses mucking up the works.

I think it is kind of funny that he refers to his daughter as a "true freshman" - what, you can do an academic redshirt now?  Ha!

Who wants to be seen in public with them?  A dark hotel room is much better for socializing.

I'd rather be seen with them at a bank-withdrawing some his money.  #winning
