Title: Mumford & Sons
Post by: AUChizad on April 15, 2011, 12:23:13 PM
I'm really digging this band. I should be moving to New Orleans the day they play at Jazz Fest, but I have to go to a damn wedding Saturday...

The folksier version of The Barenaked Ladies, imo.
Do not want.

I liked BNL when they were "folksy", back on Gordon. Not so much after.

That being said, I don't see the similarity. Not nearly as campy or corny.

I downloaded their whole CD when I heard them on the Grammy's. It is decent, but every one of their songs sound a whole hell of a lot alike. Also, the 2 songs here were the best songs on the CD, the others were average at best, IMO.

I've been wanting to listen to this.  I like the song they've been playing on the radio.

It took me a week to realize that their second release was a different song.

I did the exact same thing after the Grammy's, then thought the exact same thing after listening to the album a couple of times.

I prefer the Avett Brothers for this type of music.

This doesn't look like Redd Foxx.
