Title: The TSA At Work
Post by: Tarheel on March 15, 2011, 11:26:36 AM
With all of the catastrophic, end of the world news today from the Middle East and around the globe to Japan I thought that a bit of humor might be in order (I need some cheering up...and knowing that the vaunted TSA is hard at work keeping the terrorists off of our planes makes me 'feel' safe).

Enjoy:

The song is 'Das Panzerlied'; one of my favorites...Guten Tag!

"The Battle of the Bulge", 1965; the fictional 'Col. Hessler' played by Robert Shaw is reviewing his panzerwaffe troopers prior to the attack on the Allies and they sing this song.

Here's a link to that particular scene (not sure if the X can work it's magic with this video as it's not Yootoob):

While watching the video, I noticed that this appeared in the right-hand frame...  For some reason, I find it much more interesting.

But you guys aren't thinking about all the terrorist acts they've stopped!

The thing about them that gets me mad, when I go through security every week, I can look and see which lines have the naked scanners on, and which ones don't.  So I pick the line that doesn't have them on.

It's a total farce designed to make lull the American public into a false sense of security.

I haven't heard of anything significant since they installed the new Rape-a-Scan machines and instituted the new groping measures.  I'm sure that the ACLU is working that Fourth Amendment case as we speak...

You got it, but some airports do seem to use them more often than others.  Like you, I typically go to the lines without them.  When the security lines are backed up, those stupid things are just a waste of time adding to the frustration and delays.

I think about Phoebe Cates and swimming pools then I stand in the line with the scanner.

Be sure to leave a few coins in your pocket to encourage the fondling session after the scan.  They'll love that!
