PRICHARD, Ala. -- Prichard police are looking for 32-year-old Kunta Kinte Smith in connection with an incident Feb. 2 at his ex-girlfriendâ€™s home on Dallas Street.

Police spokesman Pat Mitchell said Smith kicked the back door open and came in armed with a shotgun, after which he took about $6,000 belonging to the woman.

Warrants have been signed charging Smith with first-degree burglary and first- and second-degree theft of property. Smithâ€™s last known address is on Ralph Drive in Gulfport, Miss., Mitchell said.
