in all serrrrs-ness.

Indiana - only loss to Ohio State, another playoff team
Bama - 2 BAD BAD losses to Oklahoma and Vandy. OKL wasn't even close and was only 2 weeks ago.
SMU - only 2 losses were to top 20 teams by a combined 4 points, one of them to Clemson in OT, another playoff team.

Bad losses trump everything else when records are in the same neighborhood and all are p4 teams. One of those above is NOT like the other 2. Bama had bad bad lapses during the year. They are schizo. Thats NOT a playoff team. When a 6 win Okl team blows your doors off 2 weeks before the committee picks playoff teams? NO. Not even close. Playoff teams don't get blown out by MID teams. Period. Miami maybe had a better argument than Bama.

I said that to my wife when it happened. I would have done it, but I would have never said I wouldn't to begin with.
It’s the continual lying that rubs folks the wrong way.

That was kind of my point above which Wes actually agreed with - "hypocritical". Biden was running for re-election so yeah of course he isn't gonna come right out and say it. He honestly should have given "no comment". By saying he wasn't, he put himself in a no win situation. His two choices at that point are to either: leave his son hung out to dry OR be a hypocrite/liar. And he isn't going to feed his kid to the wolves.

The bolded parts are outright lies, Mr. Maddow.  No one has sworn anything or promised revenge.  Hunter Biden (and his entire family), the Clintons, and Obama are among the most corrupt and dangerous people in human history.  And yet no one has “sworn” to go after them or is planning revenge.  Does their corruption need to be stopped?  You’re flipping skippy it does.

As for the “pardon spree” you’re just WRONG.

Trump granted 237 acts of clemency during his four years in the White House, including 143 pardons and 94 commutations. Only two other presidents since 1900 – George W. and George H.W. Bush – granted fewer acts of clemency than Trump.

His predecessor, Barack Obama, granted clemency 1,927 times over the course of eight years in office, the highest total of any president going back to Harry Truman.

Maybe you remember BG03?  You’ve adopted his only tactic.  Question Bama’s corruption and his answer was always “well, what about when Auburn…”

It’s tired.  It’s stale. It’s weak.  Just like democrats.

Yeah was wondering where this narrative started on retribution. Sounds like a straw man. And I mean in the last few months. Where has Trump said he is coming for revenge on any of these pardonees? His camp has said they are not emphatically.

As far as holding people accountable that did stuff way out of line trying to prosecute him in the DOJ and on down the line, I have no issue with that. Legally, they need to be held accountable. Personal grievances with people he has said are in the past. I don't know what else his camp has to say to get that across.

Just a bit ago, I was listening to a sports update, and one of the stories was the 12 team field for the playoffs in college football is set, and Bama got left out.  That was the whole story.  Not who is in, or where teams are seeded and who got a bye…just, Bama left out.  There has been some serious wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Tahd faithful.  The question is, who the frick cares?  I honestly don’t know if the committee got it right, or not.  I just know they didn’t really take strength of schedule or name brand into account.  Actually, “right” is just a subjective thing anyway.

I also heard one talking head say, “They’ll rework the rules for next year, because they absolutely didn’t expect Boise and Arizona State to be where they are.”  Really? You think they should change the whole system because you don’t think those two are deserving?  The criteria was set before the season, and they earned their way in.  Deal with it!

Texas, Indiana and SMU all made the field, and none of them had wins over top 25 teams, so I would say they didn’t put SOS at the top of the list.  Bama, your one true quality win was easily negated by 3 losses, including to unranked Vanderbilt and Oklahoma, so shut it.  Also, when we had a 4 team playoff, there were always legit arguments for somebody at 5 or 6 who got left out.  If you’re on the outside looking in with a 12 team playoff, again, shut it!

Jillian Michaels interviews Bill O'Reilly to try to give some context as to what the Progressives were shooting for and where the Democrat Party now stands.

Yes I am a huge Trump fan but O'Reilly understands and explains in short order what I generally believe to be true about American politics.

This might be the best explanation as to the craziness and vitriol that the left has fostered over the past decade due mostly to the tribalism they created.

I would be interested in Wes' opinion.

Tribalism is what I hate most now about the current landscape. Not just in politics but in general. The whole population is tribalism driven. People want to get at each other over car or phone or beer brands. It's ridiculous really. From a libertarian camp perspective, I've always been a "to each their own" mentality as long as you aren't bothering me, breaking a law, forcing me to like or do anything, etc. I know thats also a slippery slope and you have to be careful. But tribalism in general is a huge issue. The Media has caused a ton of it. I generally like both Bill and Jillian.
