Can't wait till 6pm. For now, big game not so much, but A&M having some troubles with LA Monroe.
-
Yeah, there's nothing but snoozers on the tube right now. I'm making my Home Depot run early, then settling in to watch the gators get chomped.

Maybe hit Bed Bath & Beyond, maybe not, not sure if you'll have enough time....
-
Could always tune in to Crimson Cover for the Turd with too much Bammer in it.
-

Yep, do a little run for the foods and beverages. I will say though, I think the uga/gatah game will be a close game. I still think uga will win.
-
I watched the last 4 minutes of regulation and overtime in the Duke/Pitt game. It was pretty entertaining. All 275 of those in attendance got their money's worth.
Not much to get excited about till 6. Maybe spank the monkey a time or two, make poopy, tell my bitch to make me a sammich. The usual.

Happy for Cutcliffe!

CHECK THIS SITE OUT...this bunch of sad sacks had me in tears as the game played out last season.

7-7 in the cocktail party on SlobberBS
I hope the Dawgs go down in more flames than a parade in San Francisco led by Harvey Milk.

Make that 14-7.
You can"t spell Georgia without S-O-F-T

You can"t spell Georgia without S-O-F-T
I'm watching UGA-UF & TCU-WVU.
-
Wow, Georgia's getting their shit pushed in by...FLORIDA, LMAO!!!!!!
-
We pumped!
-
Correct call.
-
I'm shocked they overturned it, based on past precedent.
-
He might throw 50 times again. They can't really run it.
-
Like the play call strategy. They have to throw it so there's no secret there.
-
I'm okay with that. Put him back in!
-
Who missed that tackle?
-
Trovon I believe
-
I'd like to see us cover somebody before this one is over.
-
What a dreamer
-
What a dreamer
Jones can actully catch a badly thrown ball. We might need him in there.
-
Terrific run blocking.
-
How is that holding on CJ?
-
How is that holding on CJ?
Nevermind...I see the refs want to star in this show.
-
Why we don't run JJ in there for some red zone passes is beyond me.
-
Nick has gotten to predictable on third down throws.
-
We've got to quit shooting ourselves in the foot. Oh yeah, I'm already sick of hearing about that landshark defense. Fucking idiots.
-
Jones gets tackled and they call it a block!
-
I never bitch about the refs but they fucked the first half up for both teams.
-
I really hope that Bo fucking Wallace doesn't beat us with his legs.
-
Yeah, if we can keep from having 10 penalties in the 2nd half, that would be awesome
-
I don't understand to constant blitzing when you can't get there, rush four drop into coverage and contain. Yes we have had a few sacks but WTF with the qb having 63 yards.
-
I really hope that Bo fucking Wallace doesn't beat us with his legs.
Only semblance of a run game they have.
-
Nick has gotten to predictable on third down throws.
That and very predictable play calling. All 1st half.
-
2nd half play calling has to be better...and penalties.
More Sammie
-
2nd half play calling has to be better...and penalties.
And fucking defense, please fucking defense. please.
-
I don't understand to constant blitzing when you can't get there, rush four drop into coverage and contain. Yes we have had a few sacks but WTF with the qb having 63 yards.
We can't cover in open field...only in red zone. But in this case we seem to be flushing Wallace into open field runs.
-
And fucking defense, please fucking defense. please.
That too.
-
Even with the penalties, the horrible tackling, and predictable play calling, AU is only down by 3 at the half.
-
That too.
Serious, pretty fucking please. Did they not watch any film from the LSU game.
Serious question: Is Ellis the problem? I feel we have the talent.
-
Even with the penalties, the horrible tackling, and predictable play calling, AU is only down by 3 at the half.
yea us. We have to much talent to be happy with being down 3 to Ole Piss.
Not saying they are bad, but we are playing down.
-
Serious, pretty fucking please. Did they not watch any film from the LSU game.
Serious question: Is Ellis the problem? I feel we have the talent.
Well, for whatever reason AU has come out strong the second half. AU should have the ball the possession of the 2nd half and score. Next up is the D, so we will see.
-
If the refs have to measure that, we are fucked.
-
If the refs have to measure that, we are fucked.
We are. We can't adjusted on offense and our special teams are just that. (short bus)
-
Calling it now, we lose this by two scores.
And I liked Duke's o'lay block on that screen.
-
Serious, pretty fucking please. Did they not watch any film from the LSU game.
Serious question: Is Ellis the problem? I feel we have the talent.
He is in Joe Lee Donn Whatthefuck blitz mode. And we suck!
-
Once again in the state of Mississippi we are not prepared, we are being out coached, out played.
-
Calling it now, we lose this by two scores.
And I liked Duke's o'lay block on that screen.
We start playing better?
-
Once again in the state of Mississippi we are not prepared, we are being out coached, out played.
Too aggressive against a one dimensional offense.
-
WOW!
-
Run it!
-
If we get a D stop on this drive I saw we win.
-
Run it!
I am not the smartest guy, but I would run CAP till his tongue was dragging the ground.
-
If we get a D stop on this drive I saw we win.
Please to be explaining?
-
When Whitey stops overcoaching we might have a chance.
-
Please to be explaining?
Like I said.
-
No tackling fuckers.
-
No tackling fuckers.
That's a insult to fuckers.
-
No tackling fuckers.
I have seen too much of this.
-
Very worried. Defense getting schooled again.
-
Like I said.
What?
-
Very worried. Defense getting schooled again.
In all the wrong ways. Gotta believe Gus see this shit and will make corrections. When I have no idea.
-
I can deal with Spurrier schooling Johnson but not Bo Wallace too.
-
Do they not know that the tight end is eligible? This shouldn't be new to a fucker as old as CEJ.
-
I can deal with Spurrier schooling Johnson but not Bo Wallace too.
Been happening pretty much all year.
-
And ever'body say we lucky.
-
CJ.
-
WHEW!
-
Just a side note - as myself and aut1 have said in recent texts tonight, brad nessler can go throw himself into a raging fire and die. What a fucking worthless honk.
-
WHEW!
???? now our defense is on the field.
-
What?
Auburn defense got the stop to get the 2nd half possession back.
-
How long until the announcers mention the stat where we are 300 and something -5 when we score 30+ points?
-
And ever'body say we lucky.
they obviously have not looked at our penalty stats. We have given the rebel black bears a field and a half of yardage.
-
For all that is holy please quit blitzing.
-
Just a side note - as myself and aut1 have said in recent texts tonight, brad nessler can go throw himself into a raging fire and die. What a fucking worthless honk.
We have been putrid on defense. Barely paying attention to Nessler.
-
Auburn defense got the stop to get the 2nd half possession back.
yea us. +1
This is the poorest tackling team I see week in and week out.
-
We have been putrid on defense. Barely paying attention to Nessler.
Marshall is lucky, Wallace is Jesus and auburn should be getting more late hit penalties. That sums him up.
-
We have been putrid on defense (again). Barely paying attention to Nessler.
FTFY
-
yea us. +1
This is the poorest tackling team I see week in and week out.
Thus is why I thought it was so important getting the 2nd possession back. This tackling is passing me off.
-
For all that is holy please quit blitzing.
YES, then we might not have to miss so many goddamned open field tackles.
-
Thus is why I thought it was so important getting the 2nd possession back. This tackling is passing me off.
Who is tackling?
-
Will someone go to the booth and strangle Johnson?
-
Shoot him like Lincoln!
-
What the fuck is the deal tackling out of bounds??
-
Good gosh man, we better stop them here.
-
Who is tackling?
My bad, we are (out of bounds)
-
I'm sick of seeing us hit em when they are out of bounds. It's a bitch move on our part. If they would hit like that in the field of play we might not give up so many big plays.
Shitty play calling on that last drive. Just run the fucking ball.
-

Yeah that pass to grant was just dumb
-
How can we not stop a god damn screen pass all night long?
-
This is the poorest tackling team I see week in and week out.
Yes. Inexcusable. Why must defense be sacrificed to have n offense worth a damn?
-
That ankle doesn't look right.
-
Piss poor tackling, the ball did not cross the endzone.
-
I'll gladly eat my crow now, but damn our defense needs to improve on the basics.
-
How can we not stop a god damn screen pass all night long?
That's the correct countermeasure that puts our corners in a position to miss a tackle in open field...which is why we don't need to bring the house every play.
-
I'll gladly eat my crow now, but damn our defense needs to improve on the basics.
That defense will not beat both UGA and bama.
-
I'll gladly eat my crow now, but damn our defense needs to improve on the basics.
We are a poor tackling team PERIOD! But Whitey only exacerbates that weakness by continuously bringing the heat.
-
Once again, Bo Wallace just runs to the locker room. What a bitch.
-
Once again, Bo Wallace just runs to the locker room. What a bitch.
Well, our defense prolly could not have stopped him anyway.
-
Well, in case you whiney fuckers need a reminder, we won.
-
Well, in case you whiney fuckers need a reminder, we won.
Sorry disagree, they lost more than we won.
-
Well, in case you whiney fuckers need a reminder, we won.
I know but I can barely enjoy the win because we won in spite of Ellis Johnson's piss poor coaching.
-
I was impressed with our DL pressure, not impressed with 5th Year Senior Mincy and his horrible coverage and tackling skills. All y'all better be glad I'm not a OC going against this Auburn defense. I'd pass at Mincy on every other play and run toss sweeps at Trovon Reed (whenever he's on the field) all night long, then throw in a screen every once in a while.
Our DL needs to learn to get their hands up when they can't get to the QB.
One more thing, I really, really liked that officiating crew (I know Auburn had 300 yards of penalties, but Auburn was the cause of them, not the refs).
-
Got some huge shit go our way late, But...it's a 60 minute game and we got SCREEEEEWED royally in the first half. 10 penalties???? Really??? Our offense...did great against one of the top 3 D'S in the nation...despite some really questionable calls by our staff. it's like when you realize that Quan and Duke and CJ and Sammie own anyone...just get them the ball and we're the best team in the nation.

Dear bitches,
My team won!

Stars wise maybe, but actual on the field playing, NOPE.
-

My team won!
Score yes, on the field, nope.
-

Probably one of the best crews we have had this season.
Mincy? Be same glad when he's gone.
Whitehead may have pissed off someone, but damn he's needed.
If Nick don't run, we struggle. He missed Several reads. But then again, it may have been a directive from coach.
All in all, damn glad to get out of Oxford with a win. Looked like 4 vs. 3!
-
Dear bitches,
My team won!
And that white headed bastard is gonna have it down to the last team with the ball against everyone but Samford.
-
Glad for the win. Always. Still got to improve tackling but if there's time on the clock, not counting a Gus team out until it hits zero.
-
Score yes, on the field, nope.
Come on brother man, yes we had lots of penalties and horrible tackling but we still over came with a win on the road against a top 4 team. I'm not sad.
-
On another note, the USCe/Vols game is going to OT.
-

Yeah. The gamecock wife is apoplectic right now.
-

I will take a top 5 win on the road with no complaints. They don't come easy. There was some shittastic play but I won't worry about that till Monday. I can straighten all of that out next week.
-
Come on brother man, yes we had lots of penalties and horrible tackling but we still over came with a win on the road against a top 4 team. I'm not sad.
I am with you. Just pissed about the game overall. Don't really think ole miss is a top 10 team.
-
Fuck all y'all. We had over 500 yards of offense against a top 3 D. The refs bent us over numerous times. We got "breaks" late but they were legit. Our coaching staff let us down over and over. We have weapons out the ass and we use them...when we choose to. Look at the opening drive. Do it. 24/7 MNC. Game over
-

I will the tackling passed me off and the penalties even if half were bs calls. I think the coaches will handle that this week.
-
Vols about to win.
-
Vols about to win.
And the Gamecocks let another slip through their grasp.

The Cocks just went limp.

Anyone saying that Ole Miss' defense isn't one of the best in the Country against the run, apparently hasn't looked at any stats.
(They came in giving up only 97 yards per game, on the ground...Auburn rushed for 253 yards)
Yup...also, Cameron Artis-Payne is hitting his stride.
-
Come on brother man, yes we had lots of penalties and horrible tackling but we still over came with a win on the road against a top 4 team. I'm not sad.
We cannot improve tackling just by running some drills. It is what it is. But they play hard...too hard to have our DC expose us knowing we aren't equiped.
Fuck me for not being a blind interminable homer. :wartim:
-
That defense will not beat both UGA and bama.
No shit. The d hasn't beat anyone since 2010 Oregon. But the offense will. So what's your point norm?
-

This. And what snags said too.
Fuck all y'all pessimistic shit asses. We gave that fucking team 150 yards of field via penalties. And still won. We get that shit corrected and that game is a route. Top 4 team at night on road. A fucking route it would have been. Ole miss got more than their fair share of breaks. We have butt loads of stuff to correct but I'm not sorry for this win. Like the Prowler said, we gashed a top 3 D.
-

One was quite grisly.
And did I, in my sleep deprived barely paying attention state, hear one of the SEC Network people say they should have called a targeting foul on the last fumble? Did I hear the sportscenter chick say "huge upset in Oxford?"
Will Arkansas ever figure out how to win a game? Should have beaten both Alabama and MSU.
-

Brad Nessler was practically begging for a horse collar on that one too. Poor chump was so disappointed OM didn't win. Starting think he caught one of our players fucking his mom last week or something. We won that game in spite of everything. Should have never been that close. I cannot count on one hand how many questionable blocks in the back and personal fouls handcuffed us and helped them. F em. All we do is Win.
All that said, we got a lot of disciplinary shit to fix before UGA and Bama.
-

It was Greg GingerDyke. He said he made a phone call to Steve Shaw to find out why targeting and horse collar tackle weren't called.
-

Greg was actually saying just the opposite on sec n. Horse collar couldn't be called since frost tackled him around waist area. No Targeting because he wasn't defenseless. Him and booger are extremely high on us now for some reason.
In reality treadwell should have went down. No way he was gonna out mucle frost. Something had to give. If for anything he should have went down on purpose so as not to do a tre mason repeat from January.
-

But Auburn wouldn't have scored in the final 90 seconds. That's what Dari and Mel proclaimed this morning as both begrudgingly had Auburn at 3 but better watch out for These next three games because they could lose them all. Also, Oregon and Marcus Mariotta are the greatest thing since the history of ever.
-
Lots of questionable officiating, but the sterling example was when AU tackled the OM receiver five yards in bounds at 1:45 to go in the game...and the clock stopped. Was not a first down.

What about the two forward passes on the last play? If he had completed it and they got a first down do you think that crew would have called it? I didn't see a single one reaching for a flag.

Yep. Another glaring mistake.
And, Bo is still a whiny bitch:
"It's tough," Wallace said. "I mean, we beat them. That's football though. (Auburn) -- it's crazy. Things like that just keep happening to them."

There were several drives that were things of beauty. That 95 yard drive in the third quarter was freaking awesome. Auburn makes it look easy when they are clicking.
The thing is, we expect that now. And then when we don't score every drive, some fans get pissed. Ole Miss had allowed something like 7 TD's all year against them...Auburn scored fucking 5.
Some of yall frustrate the shit out of me...
-

But we horsed their collar. We tarred their get. We were lucky. As Nessberger said during the game when Nick completed a long pass to Sammie "Well, they got away with ANOTHER one..." Lucky ass cheaters.
We gave up yards and nearly lost to South Carolina.
Oh, but Bama nearly lost to Arkansas. That doesn't count, though, because they weren't lucky they were good enough to survive. They are clearly on another plane from any other team because they ... uh.... they.... hmmm.... uhhhh... beat Texas A&M, dammit!! Just like a few other teams did.

The frustrating part is watching week in and week out the defense not being able to tackle. I mean basic wrap up and tackle. On one play I saw three guys hit the running back and he kept going. Not one of them tried to wrap up. How many times did you see guys take bad angles to a missed tackle? Since the dawn of time our defensive backs have never looked back for a ball, I would venture to guess we lead the SEC if not the nation in PI calls. We are going into week 9 of this season, it is far too late for any coaching on tackling and how to do it.
How many times did we blitz and not even get near Bo? Why no safety blitz from the edge and drop a linebacker in coverage? When is the last time we batted down a ball at the line of scrimmage? When is the last time a defensive back read a route or the QB's eyes and moved in front of receiver to intercept?
There were times last night that it looked like we have about 6 Jack Hollands on the field last night.
Frustration=our defense.

Yup. Another big night by Payne and his lucky yardage that he continues to pile up.
Neal McCready (OM beat writer) said it best..."as I watch some of those plays unfold, sometimes I just had to sit there and think that maybe Auburn has made a deal with the Devil." LMAO, fucking dumbasses.

It could be worse...we could be Gamecock fans, LMAO!!!

I'm with this guy.
In spite of all the mistakes we still came away with the W. We gave that team 150 Yards peepuls!!! Repeat, 150!!!!! Those penalties were a symptom of discipline issues that can be corrected. Same discipline issues were probably the reason behind the poor tackling as well. This shit can be fixed. And when it is, things will get good.
The O rolls when Gustav isn't thinking himself into a corner.
First 5 games of the year the D gave up 300 yards per game. The last 3 it's been 500 per game. It can get unfucked as quickly as it got fucked. We know the ability is there from the first 5 games.

To the Ole Miss fans, Coach Malzahn has a message for you....

Since the dawn of time our defensive backs have never looked back for a ball, I would venture to guess we lead the SEC if not the nation in PI calls.
Maybe someone who is more involved with coaching ball these days can explain this more fully but there has been a fundamental shift in teaching how to defend the pass. I have never understood the face-guarding method where you have your back to the ball but it seems to be the popular method of teaching pass defense.
In my day (100 years ago) you played the ball outright or gasp you just tied the WR up at the line of scrimmage where he couldn't catch a cold.

Stars wise maybe, but actual on the field playing, NOPE.
Stats usually don't lie and they were a top 5 D statistically until we put up 507 yards on them. We have a tendency to put up more yards than what other teams are allowing.
Score yes, on the field, nope.
Score is the only thing that matters in the end. I will take a win over anyone regardless what our O or D does on the field. Was I pissed the entire game? Yeah, but mostly at the officiating and the hitting out of bounds. We don't coach that, that was just us being dumb. I put that blame on the players that were doing it. They know better.
-
They know better.
If they don't I bet they will.
-
Yeah and he went Bush League with his shot at Malzahn not immediately addressing the Treadwell injury. Sour grapes much, Neal?
-
If they don't I bet they will.
That is probably true.
-
Tha fuck...??
Yup, that's Coach break dancing (circa 1996, Kristi Malzahn made the video to give to the Shiloh Christian Seniors, to show Coach's "lighter side").
-
There were several drives that were things of beauty.

It's been said, but we beat the #4 team in their house when they brought their A-game facing us as a #3 team. TAKE. THE. FUCKING. WIN. AND. BE. HAPPY.
We are getting to be as or more spoiled than bammers as a fanbase, and I don't like it.

First 5 games of the year the D gave up 300 yards per game. The last 3 it's been 500 per game. It can get unfucked as quickly as it got fucked. We know the ability is there from the first 5 games.
We (collectively) have seemed to forget that through the first 5 games we were forth in total D in the conference and in the top 30 in total D nationally and that is something we all begged for during the off season. The last 3 games haven't been kind to us on D, but pretty sure we can get it fixed.

And 2 of those were to top 5 teams in the nation and the other was against maybe on of the best play callers in the history of college football.
And don't forget about that team that has the Heisman front runner...
And the team whose coach, like Malzahn, is a top up and comer offensive mind. And we held the team to under 100 yards rushing not counting the 59 yard run that the QB had in which we should have tackled him for a loss...
And that we held ole miss scoreless for the last 14:30 of the game.

Yes I keep forgetting about that staunch Irish defense that held that high octane Navy offense to 39. Not sure Navy can score 39 in practice.

Backhanded compliment...

There's something about Auburn: So that 35-31 win over No. 4 Ole Miss (7-2, 4-2) really could have gone either way, but third-ranked Auburn (7-1, 4-1) is starting to look eerily similar to the team that won the SEC and played in the BCS title game last year. The offense is churning out yards and points like crazy, and quarterback Nick Marshall is making clutch play after clutch play. And in the past two weeks, the Tigers have had a couple of things go their way. Last week, it was having two players wearing jersey No. 1 going unnoticed on the last play against South Carolina, which should have drawn a penalty. On Saturday, it was the incredibly unfortunate goal-line fumble by Ole Miss receiver Laquon Treadwell, who subsequently suffered what appeared to be a very serious leg injury. The defense certainly has its issues, but Auburn won in large part because of 248 rushing yards and some huge plays on third-and-long. It was an excruciating loss for Ole Miss, but the Tigers just have that feel to them again. It's a good team that's had a little luck to work with.
It is luck that the one call of the USCe that went our way was an oversite of a stupid rule on a desperation Hail Mary pass that they OBVIOUSLY would have otherwise caught if not for that extra darn #1 jersey confusing them.
And it is luck to force a fumble on a game-winning goal-line stand.
:fu: FUCK you, ESPN.

So, we got away with one of the 11,523,235 missed calls in that game, and WE were lucky?
Got it, ESPEW.

In re to the Defense: I didn't see one Jake Holland all night, much less six. Kris Frost was fucking hustling, way before that last save.
While it wasn't perfect, it was way WAY better than the usc game. We were playing a good team. A real good team. Better than I was willing to admit before Saturday. That pretty boy fuck and Treadwell made for a ridiculous combo...like they had telepathy. And as much as I hated them, and I'm sorry I said it seemed the officials were never going to call holding again, most of those calls were legit. Our fault, and sweet jesus it was always horrendous timing....but they didn't quit. I watch our guys scramble for the ball in the endzone almost every time they are run in...they aren't quitting on a play no matter how it looks. (except for that goddamned Mincey)And Saturday night it paid off. I cussed them, and I don't have any fingernails left, but I don't really have a lot to criticize. A hard fought win in a nasty environment full of players AND fans who were armed with conviction....I'll take it all day long. And I don't give a fuck what espn says.

Thank goodness no one has noticed that Auburn ran a play with 12 players on the field (3rd Qtr, during the drive after Ole Miss went up by 10...iirc, CAP had a big run on that play). But Ole Miss wasn't flagged for the illegal double forward pass at the end of the game, so we're even in that regard.

Genius!

Shhhhh, we'll just keep it here on the X.
I'm thinking Coach Johnson should try that on defense...of course it would just mean another player to stand around and not cover anyone, then whiff on the attempted tackle, then run down field and hit the ball carrier when he's 5 yards out of bounds.

I'm for teacking Montravious Adams to be our Carl Lawson replacement.
Back him off a 1/2 yard and run stunts off of that.

I've said it over and over that I hate the whole concept of a committee and leaving it up to opinion and the "eye test". Simple logic and sound reasoning would tell you if Auburn wins out, they're in. And yes, I'm well aware that Lou Penith, Danny Jaimes Kannell, Butch Davis, Derp Turdstreet etc. are not on the committee and have no say so in the rankings. But after listening to the rationale of some of these "expert analysts", do you really feel safe that we're a lock if we win out? I've seen the comments that they're just saying it to stir the pot and get ratings. Oh nay, nay. Do you really believe Butch Davis wakes up every morning going, "I think I'll go on national TV and say something so filled with utter dumbassery, that it defies logic. That'll stir the pot."
Either it's his bias, or he really believes it when he tells the world that TCU should be ahead of Auburn....because of that great win on the road against WVU. 20th ranked WVU. That's right, better than AU's win....on the road....against 4th ranked Ole Miss. You know, Ole Miss? The team that beat Alabama who opened the season with a win over.....WVU?
Yeah, but Auburn isn't playing good defense. Hey, I agree. It's been a head scratcher the last two games for our D. We gave up 31 to Ole Miss. But wait, didn't TCU....yeah, they did give up 30 to WVU. And 800 to Baylor. But clearly they belong in the top 4 over AU. That was a monumental win in Morgantown.
And Oregon (They're just so fast) is better than Auburn and easily the best team in the country right now because....they beat the high octane Stanford Cardinal at home. Much better win than beating #4 in Oxford Saturday night. Yes, Lou Penith can't decide whether to put those Oregon Tigers (Yes, he said it) or the Fighting Irisths in his top 4.
My question is what's to stop the committee members from using this same ass-n-nine logic?
-

The history of the first rankings. If they used this logic before...I would be worried. They didn't, so I am not.

Well, they haven't yet. They don't seem to give 2 shits what the blabbering morons on TV get paid to say.

The BCS used these idiots' asinine opinions. The new one does not. The new one only considers the opinions of those that had SEC teams not named Bama for 3 of the Top 4 teams.
I'll wait til they show a poll remotely as dumb as Lou Holth's polls that thank God, USED to matter before I get upset about the new polls.
-
We will find out tonight if the committee stays on the path of reason.
Also, I find it just barely interesting that the AP and Coaches poll magically aligned itself to match the committee rankings this past Sunday.
-
I think we stay in and truly believe we'll make it if we win out. And no, I'm not worried. I just wonder sometimes what planet I'm on when I hear the "logic" so many of these analysts use.

The Coach's poll is a joke and shouldn't even be in the conversation. It is designed to be as uncontroversial as possible. It was a mirror of the previous week's AP poll with adjustments for that week's losses. Now it's the same for the Playoff poll.

The Committee is actually swaying the poll voters instead of the other way around. Good times.
With that said, no polls matter. NONE OF THEM.

The ONLY thing that matters is whether Auburn can win right away this year.

I don't know about right away but I do know that I don't think Lebo is the long term solution. We could have done well in the middle with Killingsworth under the basket. Gripes my ass I tell ya!

Why? He fully agrees that none of anything else matters. No analyst that spits, no radio personality, no poll.
