So much for not getting any good RB's anymore...Welcome and War Eagle Mr. Scott (the #5 ranked RB in the nation)
Auburn has picked up a huge commitment from one of the top running backs recruits in the country.
Scott rushed for more than 2,000 yards as a junior.
Dixie County (Fla.) Cross City's Rodney Scott informed the Tigers of his intentions to sign with them Thursday morning.
Scott, 5-foot-9, 185 pounds, chose Auburn over offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina and South Florida among others.
As a junior, Scott rushed for 2,017 yards on 250 attempts (8.1 avg.) and 20 touchdowns.
Scott is the ninth verbal commitment in the Tigers' 2009 class.

Great pickup. Now if they can seal the deal on the WR Green, this is shaping up to be a great year.

Agreed. ESPN had him committed yesterday but they have backed off since. It sounds to me like he is waiting for an FSU offer and it will be hard to pull him away from the Noles.

Yeah, I posted here that James Green WR had committed to us yesterday....That's what I get for listening to ESPN. I will say this though, if we do end up stealing JG away from FSU.....there's a Really, Really good possibility that we'll get his buddy Ricardo Dixon CB.
As for Rodney Scott? WAR FUCKING EAGLE!!!!!!!!!
