He was one of my favorite Seinfeld characters. Larry David should revive the Seinfeld Steinbrenner one more time.

There have been many fascinating characters involved in our national pasttime.  This guy is near the top for me.  Ruthless, self-motivated, rich beyond belief, savvy, charitable, and more successful in winning than any other MLB owner at any time with any franchise...the sonofabitch lived one hell of a life.

Does this mean that the white turtleneck dies with him?

Too bad neither of his sons have even half the sac that The Boss did.  He was one of a kind.  I didn't particularly like him, but you sort of have to respect him.  The boys... not so much.  It's like Gotti Junior taking over for The Teflon Don and then all them mofos wound up in jail.  It all just fell apart...  like so many shards of glass...

{mwahhahahahahahahaha... a girl can wish, right...?}

In a related story, GMS III immediately bought a controlling interest in the Heaven Church League Softball Team, hire and subsequently fired Billy Martin as manager.
