Iggles or Chefs?
Seems like the birds are rolling pretty well and Mahomes has been hobbled.
That said, Patty Mo has seen this big stage before and noted OU alum, Jalen Hurts, has not.
Philly is a 1.5 point fave here with the o/u set at 50.
I think I'm laying the points and taking the under.

I'm going Eagles, but only by a school girl's pubic hair. I was just listening to Orlovsky on the Dan Patrick Show, and he was talking about how Hurts really hasn't thrown it well since the injury. Could be a concern. But, at the end of the day, I think Philly's O-line will be too much for the Chiefs to handle. I think they can stalemate Chris Jones.

Questions - Answers: Anyone grilling/cooking anything for the SB? Wings and sausage on the grill for me.
Will you watch the halftime show? Most likely. I normally watch it, ear regardless of the "artist" performing. On a rare occasion, it's somebody I want to see. Other times, it's to be amazed at the over-the-top ridiculousness of it all. I couldn't name one song Rhianna sings. I know she's from Barbados, because we went there a couple of times, and I believe she's the one Chris Brown used to use as a punching bag. But, I'll most likely watch.
Are the commercials worth it anymore? The commercials used to be 74%, or 386/515ths of why I watched the SB. Bud Light pretty much owned the show. But, it's like no one is even trying anymore. It's been a huge letdown in recent years.

Haven't really cared about a Super Bowl since the NFL required Cam's Carolina juggernaut to step aside for Peyton's sluggish victory lap.

I thought the M and M's campaign was a little dumb and unneeded but it isn't anything thats gonna keep me up at night. Just not a fan of unsolicited pandering. Either side of the spectrum.

There is no better candy bar on the planet than Three Musketeers. It's perfect.
Reese's are good. The white chocolate eggs, trees and pumpkins they put out during the holidays are better.
Mars bars are better than people know. So are Whatchamacallits.
Baby Ruth and Snickers suck pus-laden ass. They're the candy bar equivalent of Captain America/Superman. Both of them suck but people don't want to admit it.
Twix/Kit Kat are ok.
M&Ms never fit the candy bar model for me. They don't count. I didn't like them deciding greens were lesbians and I don't much care for the vastly overrated lack of talent Mya Rudolph taking over the branding. They're out. Pass.

K is spot on with the holiday Reeses. There's actually an existing perfect product that can be improved. Same for Little Debbie snack cakes with the Valentine entries although not a candy. Hostess also gets high marks for their strawberry cupcakes which are better than the key lime ones.
Don't really eat much candy just sample what my g'kids like.
Three Musketeers IS a great candy bar.
Oh and sea salt is overrated just like cranberries. Our elders knew that certain fruits and adjuncts didn't pair well with food and beverages which is why they didn't go ga ga over the stuff.
Kellogg's ruined the original sugar coatings of Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops. Other producer's followed suit in order to get more shelf life.
Hazlenut flavoring is an abomination and lavender scent should be outlawed.
I'm shaking my fist in the air and say embarrassing shit all of the time because I can get away with it.

This one sort of has a Super Bowl XXII feel about it where Doug Williams had a big day v. Denver.
Guess that comparison makes me a racist because Hurts is about on similar footing now as a starter as Williams was then.

Well, that was entertaining. Great game from start to finish. Shame to see the shitty turf in Glendale impact another major game.
Commercials were...mid.
Halftime show was...mid. RiRi was impressive running through her hits from a platform somewhere near ISS while pregnant, but the wardrobe folks fumbled the bag big time. The staypuft outfits totally disguised/obscured the dancers' precision moves and left the whole thing looking sloppy and disorganized.
Anyhoooooo...a better SB than most.

Well suck me. I saw the musicians briefly at the end, but wasn’t paying attention. Didn’t realize he was still touring with her. Nuno has collaborated with a shit ton of artists over the years.

Watched a few commercials. Watched halftime. I know all the songs because my daughter cheered through college. So her songs were always on the list. She sang well and did a good job for a pregnant woman.
Did not watch the game. Have not watched a game since krapperdunk ruined it. Saw a few highlights.
Felt bad for all the bammers when their second string, "we didn't want him anyway" QB lost. (not really)
On to college baseball.
