It was there for the taking. Three players converged on a simple pop-up in foul territory just behind the first base bag. Catch it and Arkansas wins the CWS. But nope. It drops. New life for the Beavers.
A single, two run homer. Hogs lose.

They just kept showing the kid too. The second basemen who called everyone off. I hate Arkansas but damn I feel bad for that kid. On the plus side, I won $5 from a bar tender on that game. I bet him $5 after they blew that play that the batter would RBI single to left field to tie it up.

Why are the hawgs trying to steal our things again? Losing like that and then losing the rubber match to lose the CWS is an Auburn thing to do.

I'm not sure if its an AU thing, but that play to end game 2 might go down as one of the most costly errors in the CWS...Ever!
