I wish the Heels luck tonight. I say that in all srsness. I'm a big Duke basketball fan. But, I'm a bandwagon fan from way back and have no connection to the school. I've just always liked the way they've run their program. Sure I want Duke to beat UNC every time and I get the rivalry, especially being involved in the AU/UA rivalry all my life. But if Duke doesn't win, it doesn't bother me in the least if Carolina or anyone else wins it. Just so Bama doesn't...in anything. Now, having said that.....

Despite having the least bids of any major conference (only the WCC & Mountain West had less with 2), the SEC is tied for the most wins so far at 7 with the Pac-12. The Pac-12 had twice as many bids as the SEC. The SEC is the only undefeated conference at this point in the tournament.

I never use the Wikipedias as a 'source'...no offense...and I never slice.
Actually, I did my own analysis of who made it to the Sweet 16 (and the Conference affiliations) but I give Chizad respect for posting a thorough review here, very well done and appreciated. I think I recall Bruce Pearl lamenting just a few days ago that so few SEC teams made it to the Big Dance...but the ones that did are doing very well.
