Him starting tells you exactly where are program is.
-
Hide yo kids, hide yo wife
-
Maybe Mrs. Chizik is pulling the strings, knowing that starting Moseley would cause more fans to pray.
-
I really hope the only part of the quarterback competition was seeing who could hand the ball off the best.
But I know that's not true. And because that's not true, I'm not watching on Saturday.
-
Moseley excelled in the clipboard-holding portion of the competition

 :cage:

I blame all of this on Satan like Jonna Chizik, and I'm going to find my salvation via many bottles of craft beer tomorrow.

Good thing it's a 7am kickoff.
-
I guess the question would be if we are going to be a running team, why not keep your “running QB†in and not one who is no threat to run?
-
He's the bigger threat to fold up like a $2 lawn chair.

Moseley travels better...less outfits to bring.

AUBURN, Alabama – Clint Moseley will be Auburn's starting quarterback at Ole Miss on Saturday, coach Gene Chizik announced Friday.
It'll be his first start of the year after making his season debut in relief last Saturday.
Moseley got the call over Kiehl Frazier after a week in which they both competed for the starting job following last Saturday's loss to Arkansas.
Moseley replaced Frazier at halftime of the Arkansas game. He had been slowed by a sore shoulder since spring practice.
Frazier started the first five games, completing 56-of-103 throws for 664 yards and two touchdowns but with eight interceptions. Moseley, who started the final six games last year, completed 13-of-21 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown and an interception against the Razorbacks.

Saaaay...I just heard Moseley was going to be the starter tomorrow.

McCalebb will run more sweep tosses.

So say All the ladies he has been with.

Trovon Reed will start the second half.
Well at least we get to see him play something.

I was just talking to my buddy, Tim Jackson; and he didn't say anything about it.

Clint Moseley will be our starting QB.
First sign that we're not really committing to being a running team.
-
I can't tell you who my source is, but I just heard that Moseley should be the starter tomorrow. But I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't start.

Bob Sacamano hasn't said anything to me.

Damn...now I gotta go bump up my Ole Miss pick to 10 points.

Damn you quick with the info.
You can only hope to contain me
-
Also, Dr. Tunde will be the starting Center (Dismukes dislocated his elbow last weekend early during the game but continued to play through the pain). If Dr. Tunde struggles, then Sullen will replace him, Robinson will move down to LG and Shon Coleman will play at LT.
-
Damn you quick with the info.
chizik called him first.
-
Well, good ole Clint will be our guy. Don't like. Do not want. But I'll be pulling for his whiney ass to do gooder. He did play probably his best game last year against OM so we can hope. And while I'm not a fan of this move, I have to admit it can't get any worse than it's been with Frazzers at the helm for 5 games.
Kick ass Clinton and let's talk about winning for a change. :bar:

I'm guessing because he is more of a threat to throw the ball than Frazier, if Ole Miss load the box with 9, Moseley can beat them deep (one more thing, none of Moseley's sacks happened because he held the ball too long, they came because he had a defender in his face within a second or two...also that last interception, he threw, was due to the DT smoking Chad Slade and hitting Moseley while he was throwing *note: he didn't cower when the DT was coming right at him*)
-
Moseley does well against the OM racists because of his Clintorral hood (unless that makes it 12 on 10)

They only have to load the box when Prosch or Wallace are on the field.
The last time Tunde started was when Dismukes was suspended for MSU game. (Dismukes out again)
I don't see the left side off tackle, corner stuff working with Ole Miss' speed.
JMO but if we are truly committed to the run and have no big churning back, I want Prosch out there to soften them up.(no less than half the snaps)
Any word on Bray?

Tunde started against Clemson, Dismukes was back on the field against MSU.
Haven't heard anything on Bray.
As for Prosch:
I'd line him up at RB, put Fulse or Kozan in at FB and run a HUNH between the tackles, ground & pound running game for a series or two.
Run Mason and Blakley until they (OM) throw up.
Sweep it with McCalebb.
Go back to the Prosch ground & pound for the first half.
Second half
Hit Lutz a few times after a few playactions.
Do some G&P.
Bomb it deep to Blake or Coates after a playaction.
Go back to the HUNH G&P with Mason, Blakley or Prosch.
Victory Formation for the last two plays.

The sad part of this is that our most under-utilized athletes like Fulse and Prosch will most likely be playing on Sundays, limited roles maybe but wasted talent nevertheless. What's wrong with Fulse strong left and Lutz split right with Blake? Prosch should be in at FB for over half the offensive snaps (30+) while rotating Blakeley and Mason. Then you have still have your favorite run side (left) without Lutz having to be a battering ram. Then we can occaisionally set up any number of pass options to the right for Turtle or Frazier...even for young Wallace. Because as it stands now, our offense is bad and predictable.

Pffft. The motherfucker would have to have some balls first.

Bad? Yes. Predictable? Not a single football person/analyst I know can tell you what we fucking do on offense...other than fail.

Good point. Predictability would require some amount of commitment by us.

Really, that may be the best thing Auburn has going for it right now. How does an opponent's scout team duplicate Auburn's offense?

By having an epic number of negative plays?
