Title: Probable Starters For The Corndoggies
Post by: Snaggletiger on September 20, 2012, 04:59:36 PM
Since the start of the season, or before, LSU has lost Honey Badger, a starting guard/tackle (Can't recall what he played), their leading running back and one of their starting linebackers.  Does that mean anything for Saturday?  Meh...doubt it would have any effect at all.  They still have a stout, experienced line, 3 good sized experienced backs and the same 280 lb. fullback that said he made us quit. Nothing regarding their size stands out about them on defense, but unlike Auburn, they fly to the ball and tackle when they get there.  Should be a fun game...for the first 3 1/2 minutes.

Oh contraire, mon amaire.  Who is going to snap for the 12 extra points before halftime?

That's a short-snapper.

Good programs have each.

Short snapper?  We don't need no stinking short snapper.

And with our touchdown production he would not get much use.

Will the short snapper be at the corner of Wire and Samford?

Read an article this morning in our local kitty litter liner about Zac Mettenturder-inator playing in his first road game.  Have no idea why, but I just went to find it to post it and it's not on the site or anywhere that I can find.  Anyway, only one blurb in there was the reason I was trying to find it...and is the reason Dee Ford is my new favorite AU player for 2012.  Asked about Mettzenfretchen, Ford said "He's just another quarterback to me.  I'm still going to try and kill him."

He probably won't but that's the kind of attitude I like.  If anyone can find said article, please to be posting.  Couldn't find it on OA News either and I think that's where it was pinched from.
