Title: Arik Armstead

To announce Today? Unless he doesn't

No time listed though.

Quote
Highly touted high school defensive lineman Arik Armstead says he will finally announce his college choice today.

That is, of course, if he actually goes through with it.

He plans to have a half-dozen caps at his announcement, one for each school that has recruited him.
The Sacramento, Calif., native and his brother Armond have strung along Auburn
fans, as well as fans of his other top college choices, the past two weeks with several announcements of an impending decision, only to back off.

Many people would criticize Arik for his diva-like delays, but I have no problem with his behavior. He is simply playing the recruiting game. Don't blame the individual, blame the system.
This 24/7 news era we live in has created an insufferable beast when it comes to college football recruiting coverage. Until we decide enough is enough, we will continue to see 17- and 18-year-old top recruits put on a dog and pony show such as the one by Arik Armstead.

I give us a 25% chance.  I think he stays on the left coast.

No guess on his choice, but I've read he'll make his choice at 6 Eastern time.

I really want this kid at AU.  I will be a little disappointed if he stays on the left coast.  Also, has he given up on being an EE?

Call me optimistic but I think we have a pretty good chance with this kid.

Hey Mr. Optimistic, I give us a 25% chance with this manchild of caps. Oregon probably gets them but I would like to see him suit up for the good guys. Goldman is letting his parents do his talking so I give us a little less than even chance with him. We 50/50 on Diggs though, Williams too, not as much on Avery if we get Adams or Brown if we get Alexander but everyone else is a real possibility according to about eight sites I've been monitoring. Kozan looks to be an Iowa commit, DGB to Arky and if JUCO Patterson goes to FSU we might get Louis back. We'll still have a nice little class though.

Most of the skreetz are saying this too. Oh well, maybe there is surprise here but I'm gonna have to go with the Ducks on this one as well.

He has six hats and an Auburn placard.

WTF? No one could find him a hat?

Doesn't look good for us if this even remotely resembles a traditional hat ceremony. Unless he puts the placard on his head.

He's a moron, we didn't want him anyway.
