I bet you say that about every new guy

This one will not be beaten in the redzone. He makes every catch in a crowd.
-
I have no idea about this guy's size....looks pretty stout...but a lot of those highlight's were very...Julio-esque. Better athlete than everyone on the field and like jmar said, comes down with everything. IMHO...this guy would be big...REALLY big.

I heard on the Radio this afternoon that Alabama stopped "recruiting him a while ago." Could be bullshit, it did come from WJOX. It was Dunaway.

Did he get Rival'ed?
Probably. But I don't GAF.
Had a bammer tell me yesterday that they weren't interested in T.J. Yeldon....riiiighhhhhttttt. I mean why would they want the best back in the state?
War Damn Eagle, Jaquay.

The "Did he have an offer from Bama" schtick is done. Bama might want to start wondering if their recruits have offers from us.
I mean, since recruiting rankings are the end all of the universe, why don't we count the number of stars between the two schools:
Auburn - 8 four stars. 2 three stars.
Alabama - 5 four stars. 8 three stars.
-
Any news of either Williams or Yeldon qualifying?

suppose I mean on schedule to qualify next year because that is always a concern as with the kid from Springville, Richardson of whom I have not heard any news.

Williams says he will start working cousin Rushel Shell.
He's a bigtime RB outta Pennsylvania. I'd say he'll be a Nittany Lion or a Buckeye. But with tO$U going through their turmoil and Joe Pa might be retiring (I've said that every year since '05), Shell could fall into Auburn's lap, we just have to get him and his family down for a visit.

Well that does give SPUAT 44 stars overall to our measly 38.

JaQuay Williams, the top receiver in Georgia, commits to Auburn for 2012
One of the top players in Georgia committed to Auburn on Wednesday, giving the Tigers their second four-star player in two days for the 2012 signing class.
JaQuay Williams of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone said he'll sign with Auburn next February. He chose Auburn over Ohio State, Alabama, LSU and Tennessee at the end, according to Rivals, but also had offers from Arkansas, Clemson, Florida, Miami and Michigan, among others.
Williams is a 6-foot-4, 205-pounder who caught 48 passes for 728 yards and 10 touchdowns last fall. He caught 85 passes for 1,570 yards and 19 touchdowns at Heard County High in Franklin, Ga., the year before. Rivals and Scout rate him the top wide receiver in Georgia.
Rivals, Scout and 247 Sports say Auburn's 10th commitment for 2012 is a four-star player. Reporting from the scene first were Inside the Auburn Tigers and AuburnSports.com and AuburnUndercover.com. They'll have the first quotes.
Williams follows in the four-star footsteps of running back T.J. Yeldon, who committed Tuesday and who is considered the top running back in Alabama.
Williams said during the recruiting process that he was impressed with Auburn receivers coach Trooper Taylor.
"Auburn has one of the best wide receiver coaches in the country," Williams told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "It's a great tradition down there, and I like the offense. They've really been on a hot streak with recruiting."
Williams was named the MVP at the Atlanta MVP Camp attended by many of Georgia's top prospects, according to the newspaper.
Auburn's other commitments are tight end Ricky Parks, receiver Ricardo Louis, defensive lineman Darius Philon, offensive lineman Shane Callahan, cornerback Joshua Holsey, athlete Darrion Hutcherson, quarterback Zeke Pike and linebacker Cassanova McKinzy.
