I was hoping he would go to Clemson so we more than likely wouldnt have to see him ever again.

Pretty sure we will only have to see him at South Carolina this next year and that is it, unless it is the SECCG,  we would have to see him twice for sure at Clemson.

You know what? I actually forgot about 2012 at the Dome. Good catch. Damn - I guess it sucked no matter where he went. I guess the only pro about clemson is he wouldnt have been able to hurt our conference standing. Yes - he is that good. And I think he will cause trouble against ANY OL.

Won't ever see him anyway.  SC doesn't know how to get people eligible when they can't spell 'cat'.  Only Alabama and Ole Miss have that ability.

Long Snapper?

He was just afraid of the competition against the likes of Dax and Co.

I hear Chiz and Co. are conducting a 3 day Long Snapper camp this summer.  There's a very good possibility that Dax will be there as a guest long snapper.  Man, the knowledge that will be passed on to the kids lucky enough to get a slot.

Don't think I won't be waiting outside the stadium with Dax poster and Sharpie at the ready.

As I was looking through the game program from the BCSNC, I noticed we have 3 LS/DS on the roster.

Our numbers are down since that damn Tuberville refused to focus on the 1.3 - 2.4 star Long Snappers.  Instead, he'd bring in several "Snappers in the rough" and think he could coach them up.  The beginning of the end for CTT and the BBQ Boys in my opinion.

Somewhere a midget is gnashing his teeth while his minions run for cover...

and a player on the cusp of being a greyshirt/medical hardship breathes a sigh of relief...

“I don’t see no big deal like everybody else,” he said later. “They’d say, ‘He’s the king of all of football.’ The guy ain’t nothing but 5-5. He’s a short guy. Everybody’s going crazy on Nick Saban.”  - Clowney

Yeah, unless we play Hargrave, I don't see Auburn's OL going against Clowney anytime soon.

I realize that I am not up on all the recruiting rules and such, but I don't think a kid should be considered a "top recruit" if everyone is well aware that he will be a sign and place.  Lots of people may have 'skillz" - but you have to be an athlete AND a student, at least according to the NCAA.  Not enough to just be the first.  This guy may never see a Div 1 playing field, so why waste the stars on him?  He is either motivated enough to get his grades in order or not - and if these kids can't get their grades together in high school, where they are surrounded by family and "friendly" teachers and coaches, then what makes it a given that they will do so in some JuCo?

I would love to see how many sign and place studs actually make it to the Big Dance.
