3 points from the video below.

1.) Tre Mason is well spoken young man
2.) He is working on his 4.38/40 speed. DAMN!
3.) Coaches told him that he is the only back that they will take this year.

My point is.....

http://wareagleextra.blogspot.com/2011/01/five-star-recruit-brent-calloway.html#ixzz1AUJUD0kS

“I’ve seen the depth at linebacker at Alabama, and it’s stiff,” he said during an interview with Rivals. “And there are guys who are twice my size, and who have played this position for so long now. So that’s why I’m making a point where I say, hey, I should just go (to Auburn) and play running back.”

If this kid is telling the truth and he's being told that he's the only running back, Brent Calloway just took a bitch slap.

Yeah, I got ya. I was wrong in the way I posted the statement. At the 3:45 mark is where the question is answered. The question was, paraphrased, "has Auburn told you if they are taking another RB in this class". Mason answered no.

Actually, after talking to my skreetz, it turns out that they did not tell him they were signing only one RB this year, but they told him that when he committed, they were done pursuing other RB's and that they couldn't;t sign another one.

so...take that. And fuck you Token.

This is actually pretty awesome.

The fact that he was/is the DJ means that he was personally and solely responsible for what is easily one of the Top 10 most recognizable beats in hip hop history.

Off the top of my head, the only others that are competitors are "Let Me Clear My Throat" and "It Takes Two."

Soon to be released? De La Soul ft. T-Will? T-Will ft. DJ Tre Mason's Dad?

If this were to be interpreted as you have (which we've established that it shouldn't be), I would think it would be more of a bitch slap to Quan Bray than Calloway. Bray's a Running Back. Calloway is an Athlete who will probably play running back, but can be moved if he is of more use to us somewhere else.

I took it to mean they were through pursuing any more RB's.  But then, I'm an Auburn homer and would never admit that my staff would ever do anything that was not above board.  Just sayin'...

However, the way Malzahn has used his backs in this offense, Calloway and Mason would fit right in with that M.O. Tate and O'Mac and now Dyer and O'Mac are both power/speed combinations.  I'm just guessing but I would imagine Mason is a little more durable than Onterrio.  I can see him getting the ball quite a few more times in open space when/if he takes over in that slot.

My interpretation was based off of what Simp said, I didn't watch the video.  So if it was falsely interpreted, Simp is to blame.

Brent Calloway is a linebacker.  You know it.  I know it.  Auburn's coaching staff knows it.  Soon enough, Brent will know it.

Is that all?  I like to believe there is a bomb under my vehicle that will explode if I drop under 60.  Why 60, you ask?  Through science I've discovered the human brain doesn't have time to search for a car or tag number while the body is scrambling for safety.  I've never been complained on in a school zone.

Wait.  Were you implying that my argument is petty?

Speaking of speeding and school zones....what?

Several years back, I got "popped" for fishing with an expired license.  Yep, told you I was a hellion in my younger days.  Went to pay the fine and on the wall was a chart, outlining the fines for different traffic offenses.

Had to ask the lady if she could explain to me why my evil deed was going to cost me $20.00 more than the fine for speeding through a school zone. She couldn't.

Lawyers don't pay fines.  They run to the judge and things disappear.

I really like both of these RB's we landed, at least in the "Auburn Man" department. Hope they turn out to be as awesome on the field.

I got lazy with the quote function, but yeah, it is a good read about the kid. I certainly think this kid can do great things at Auburn. Coach Yox will put another 15 to 20 lbs of muscle on this kid, plus he can probably get his 40 down to 4.3 or faster. He has some skills. I found a video on you tube but I didn't post it cause it has a water mark right in the middle of the screen. Kind of aggravating, but what you can see is some damn fine lateral movements and quick burst of speed.
