Title: A-Day Attendance
Post by: wesfau2 on April 05, 2016, 08:51:16 AM
Anyone going?

I'm getting in Friday afternoon/eve with my nephew in tow.

We'll go out (as much as the underage kid can) Friday and be up for some psuedo-tailgating on Saturday if anyone's around.

I'm pretty certain I'll be there - not until Saturday though.

Plan to go to the track meet for an hour or so and maybe participate in the Punt, Pass and kick. The 40 time clock is way off, btw. Had me at like a 5.5 last year, which is more than a second slow.

Any of you are welcome to buy my lunch after that.

Mini all of a sudden has better things to do than go to A-Day.  This may be the big one, Elizabeth!

It's becoming clear who the real Auburn men are.

And not many are stepping up to help the less fortunate Dallas. Regardless of hate, he is needy. Remember the creed.

Was planning on it, but the cost of the game tickets pushed it pass my budget. Gonna be in Columbus the following week anyway.

The teacher asks her 4th grade class the question, "When you go to Heaven, what part of you gets there first?"

Brittany raises her hand and says, "It's your head because that's the highest part of your body".

Well that's a good guess Brittany but it's not what I'm looking for.

Timmy says, "I know, it's your hands because if you raise your hands over your head, they're higher than your head so your hands would get to Heaven first."

That's also a good guess Timmy but not quite right.

Little Johnny blurts out, "It's your feet.  Your feet get to Heaven first."

No, it's not your feet but why would you say that, Johnny?

Because last night, I heard a bunch of noise coming from Mama and Daddy's bedroom so I went down there to see what was wrong. When I opened the door, Mama's feet were up in the air and she was hollering, "Oh Jesus, I'm coming."

The teacher always gave the kids a trivia question on Fridays and if a child answered correctly, she would give them the following Monday off.  However, the questions were purposely so hard that no one could possibly ever get them right.

One Friday, Little Johnny came to school with a couple of raquetballs in his coat pocket.  At the exact time the teacher announced she was about to ask the trivia question, Little Johnny took the raquetballs from his pocket and whipped them down the aisle where they banged off the teacher's desk.

ALRIGHT, who's the comedian with two black balls?

To which Little Johnny replied, "Eddie Murphy.  See ya' Tuesday, teach".

Running a 5K for military charity that morning in the Gump. We'll see if we get back in time.

Now for joke stolt from some radio show this morning. Happy Wednesday, Xers.

Little Jimmy lives on a farm. Comes down for breakfast and his mother tells him no food until he does his chores. Jimmy is not pleased with this but goes on to the chores. He feeds the chickens and in frustration kicks one. He feeds the cows and in frustration kicks one. And he feeds the pigs and in frustration kicks one.

Jimmy comes to the kitchen table to see a bowl of dry cereal waiting. He asks, "Where's the eggs? The bacon? Why is there no milk in this, Mom?"

His Mother retorts, " I saw you kick the chicken so no eggs for a week. I saw you kick the cow and the pig too so no bacon or milk for a week either."

About that time Jimmy's Dad comes in for coffee and the family cat gets in the way. Dad kicks the cat across the room. Jimmy looks at his mother and asks, "Are you gonna tell him or should I?"

I don't understand why not have the A-day game, baseball game and softball game all on that day. I gotta believe you could schedule them all with enough time for other events. And your gonna have sellouts at every event.

I would not attend, but was just wondering.
