The younger Brown had rising junior defensive tackle Tyrone Truesdell as his player host, and he spent much of his time with linebackers coach Travis Williams and defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, who spoke to him about his potential role with the Tigers should he choose to sign with them on National Signing Day in a couple of weeks.I fully expect Brown to be on board by this time next week.
As of now, the coaches project Brown as a linebacker. He had 205 total tackles as a senior at Lanier, including 26 for a loss, six sacks, six pass breakups, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries, one of which was returned for a touchdown.
#GodsPlan (https://twitter.com/hashtag/GodsPlan?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc^tfw) pic.twitter.com/Yw3Z4zuuC0 (https://t.co/Yw3Z4zuuC0)Griffin visited the Plains last weekend and has recently become a major target for the Tigers. However, this change in his recruitment came after his visit to Georgia Tech where one of his older brothers already plays. The new Yellow Jacket staff has made him a top priority and my guess is they are probably the team to beat at the moment. However, Auburn is in this race and it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see him pick the Tigers come February 6th. It will be interesting to see if he takes any other official visits over these last two weeks.

However, I still don’t think you can count out South Carolina just yet. Will Muschamp and Travaris Robinson are two of the best at landing big time DBs.

So possibly two straight years without an OL signing? They signed 2 O-linemen in the early period. However, both project as guards. They've done some dropped the ball big time on tackles the last few years.
That's all I got out of that.
So possibly two straight years without an OL signing?Same.
That's all I got out of that.
In our early signing period, we landed:
Keiondre Jones 6'4" 340 4*
Justin Osborne 6'5" 300 3*
Ira Henry is the only name in the roundup above.I checked the current available JUCO tackles, which are what we need the most. There are only a couple of 4* and a handful of 3* guys available. I have no idea if we are in on any of those but you would have to think the staff realizes this glaring need staring them right in the face. Hopefully, they're working some magic ($$$) behind the scenes.
Do we have any JUCO/transfer prospects that could step in and provide depth?
We need more whores.^^^This^^^

Is there any news?
Is there any hope?
Is there anybody out there?
Just nod if you can hear me...
Haven't seen squat on quotes, rumors etc. The articles I've read seem to be consistent in who AU is targeting, most of which are in the piece posted above. Heavy on linemen on both sides of the ball and trying to get one more running back in the fold. To be honest, I'm not sure I like this early signing period dealio. I always loved the big February signing day and watching everything get updated. How many white boys we get?
How many white boys we get?So far, 3 crackas in the house.
The site wouldn't let me pinch-n-paste it, but Ben Wolk at Rivals thinks we land:Well, goddamn...that would make me extinguish my flaming pitch-fork.
Kamaar Bell OL
Ira Henry OL
Ledarrius Cox DL
Charles Moore DL
Octavius Brothers LB
Mark Anthony Richards RB
George Pickens WR
If that's the case, this will turn into a pretty damn good class.
Well, goddamn...that would make me extinguish my flaming pitch-fork.We need some Prowlie skreetz to confirm some of these.
For now.

Lou and and Frank helped kill a man named Tommy Neri by hitting Tommy in the head with a tire iron. Later Lou holds Tommy down while Frank cuts Tommy's head off. They could arrange to have that same thing happen again if you like.

Pickens moved his signing ceremony to 9:00 a.m. and is taking it off the Hoover campus as originally planned, to another location. He was going to announce this afternoon.Going to Georgia per the Twitters.

So...colossal fail on signing day. Thanks Gus.What's bad is apparently they had no idea Pickens was going to flip. Didn't see it coming.
So for you playing at home, we have had ONE signee today. The expectation was four to five signees.
That's all we got? One god damn signee!
FUUUUCK!
Kameron Brown (Derrick Brown little Bro) LB
So for you playing at home, we have had ONE signee today.Don’t freak. Remember that the 5 star Pickens kid has been committed to us forever. Although rumor is he’s considering LSU.

Fail. Pickens picks UGA after giving no indication of truly wavering
Fail. Hampton picks LSU (no surprise but Gus let people think there was a chance)
Fail. Cox chooses Ole Miss out of the blue
Fail. Griffin signs with Ga. Tech
Terrible closing. Just terrible. We are getting the R Kelley treatment today.
So...colossal fail on signing day. Thanks Gus.The man deserves a raise.
Moore is huge for us.Moore is less
What's bad is apparently they had no idea Pickens was going to flip. Didn't see it coming. Most consensus was Auburn. Slight chance to LSU. Even less chance to Tennessee. Even Miami was that 4th. Other than an “entertainment value†visit to Athens two weeks ago, uga wasn’t even on the radar. And still wasn’t as of three days ago. Well apparently they were very much on it. The whole time. He knew it and Kirby knew it. But not much of anyone else knew it.
And this is the reality of where we are today:
***Nucelar scenario ***
This is something nobody on this site or at Auburn headquarters wants to think about but hypothetically what happens should Auburn miss on the six main targets AND lose Pickens? Well, were that to happen and the Tigers failed to sign any backup options, they'd end with 249.60 points. A top-20 finish still would be possible, but barely.4COMMENTS (https://scout.com/college/auburn/Article/Auburn-Class-Calculator-Looking-at-the-best-worst-scenarios-128722532/#)The good news?
This scenario is highly unlikely ... so you can back away from the ledge.
Picked up a 4* RB...Mark Anthony Richards.
And lay off pudgy people, fucko.

Oh shit!!! from Auburn UndercoverMay the Schwartz Be With You chimes in on the twatters.
Auburn isn't taking five-star wide receiver George Pickens' surprising flip to Georgia all that well (https://247sports.com/college/georgia/LongFormArticle/Georgia-Bulldogs-football-recruiting-George-Pickens-national-signing-day-2019-five-star-128766841/) on National Signing Day.
Several players have tweeted in disgust toward the Bulldogs, including defensive tackle Coynis Miller, who wants the Tigers to place a higher bid for services next time around. The rivalry is quite bitter between Auburn and Georgia and decisive head-to-head recruiting battles certainly up the ante a bit.
Just know we know

With the lo$$ of WR George Pickens to Georgia...WR in the transfer portal, La'Michael Pettway, looks really good nowDo we have a direct line to the Portal?
247 now shows Octavius Brothers as a hard commit. If you are being serious, I’m pretty sure that they don’t. But there is a shit pile of people around here that care. Fosho
I didn't know they cared about whether or not he had a stiffy.

Yes. From my untrained eye, Johnson was a better receiver and shiftier with the ball in his hands than that other WR who signed with fudge Georgia. But, just like my Johnson, he's a little short.
247 has us up to 11th overall and out of that class, 5 are in the Top 100. Also noted that Kameron Brown and JeVarrius Johnson were upgraded. Seems I recall Buzz raving about Johnson (Not his own) and being surprised he was only a 3*.
