Title: To Rona Or Not To Rona
Post by: Snaggletiger on February 21, 2024, 03:28:54 PM
Wednesday, two weeks ago, Mini Snags spent the day with funky stuff coming out both ends...at the same time.  He sat upon the throne, whilst leaning over to the sink for double spewage.  Snagette was just coming off surgery, and still home bound for a bit, so I took him to a local Doc-in-a-box.  A bag of fluids, a shot in the ass and a diagnosis of, "It's goin' around", and we were on our way. Two days later, he's coughing his head off, got a fever, so he drives himself back to the Doc.  Covid!!!

A few days later, Snagette starts doing the same thing.....Covid!  This past Friday, I'm starting to cough, and by the next day, I feel like death warmed over.  Tested twice....No Covid! Snagette and I should never be at risk for the lung diseases, because we've already hacked up all the lung we gots.

We were all 3 vaccinated back when the Ronas took over the country.  It's the second time the skirt has been diagnosed with it.  I never have been.  I was in a house all that time with two people that had it, I had the same symptoms, but I apparently just have the flu.

Every few years, as far back as I can remember, there was always some new strain of the flu, with a new catchy name like Swine or Bird flu.  Recently, I've been hearing about a ton of cases of "Covid", but for some reason, nobody is getting hospitalized or croaking from it.  Is it really the same Covid that was ravaging the country in 2020?  I clearly caught what I've been dealing with from my own family, but if they had Covid, why don't I?

BTW, this just feels exactly the same as the "flu" that jumps on me every 3-4 years.  Feel like shit for a few days, and cough for another week afterward.

I drink a quart of Clorox at the first sign of Covid. Trump was right.

Have y'all had any of the boosters?  The problem was that this one mutated pretty quickly, necessitating some updates.

The vax won't serve as an absolute protection from infection, but will limit symptom severity.

It’s ironic that you will continue taking booster shots for the rest of your life, just as you will continue to use a booster seat.

Don’t need a booster if you never put that poison in your body to begin with.
