Sucked it up and went the StubHub route. $219/per. That motherfucker better send me extra business now.
Question for those that have used StubHub before:
My confirmation email contained a disclaimer. It said that I need to bring the email with me to the stadium in case there is a problem with the tickets. Is this something that happens frequently with StubHub tickets?
I'm not going to be there with the guy when he uses them. I don't want to send the email with the tickets, cuz some of the luster is lost when he sees that I just bought them off a website.
Do I roll the dice and hope that he's not turned away at the gates angry and embarassed?

If it were my client, I would take the risk. You are right, the tickets do kind of lose their luster if their is a "risk" that goes along with them. In casual conversation I would just say, "Let me know if you need anything else or have any questions". Then make sure you are by your phone...and not too hammered...until the game is started so you can take care of anything if he calls and questions you...

Yeah, that's the route I'm strongly considering. Make myself available for any issues and hope for the best.
The wrench in my plan: I'll be in Auburn with Sani and the Godfather on the day of this game. I have no illusions about staying sober.

He will not be sober and may be on the floor in the fetal position in a Haley center bathroom.

Just leave my tip jar out. I need gas money for the return trip.

I've used StubHub on at least 6 different occasions. Including Auburn, Braves, and Nationals games. Never had a single problem.
You should be good.

I've bought and sold tickets on StubHub also. Never had an issue. You should be good to go.
