He's on track for 182 tackles in a 10 game season.

After the way we played against Vestavia on Friday, I think we can get to the playoffs.

200 tackles.  3 star recruit.

Oh, and he shares tackles with Nigel Terrell, a F$U commit.

WOW!!! Just Wow.  I really, really want to see what Rivals and some others do with this kids rating.  Following this could speak volumes about how they do things.  Seriously, look at his stats through 4 games.  That alone is worthy of 3* status for a whole season.

We shall see.

Like I've told a few people, if Jake isn't a 4* recruit, by the end of the season...then I'll be taking my subscription elsewhere.

I agree Daniel.  Look, forget Auburn or FSU or Michigan etc.  If a kid is playing on the highest level (6A) in his State and he has these stats after only 4 games....my reaction is I want that mofo...NOW.

Even more impressive when you consider he's a punter.

Sounds like a good kid who's having his feet kept on the ground by his father.  His father posts regularly on ITAT and does a good job of tempering the hype...  but you can still tell he's a proud papa...

The simple fact that he's doing this against some of Birmingham's best 5A and 6A schools says even more than just the Playstation numbers.  I can't wait to see this kid backing up Bynes next year.

Jake had 12 stops against Homewood.

One coach said "the team had the most piss poor effort I've ever seen."

So, when Jake has "piss poor" effort, he racks up 12 tackles.

Sweet.

Dude...this guy can ball. Stats from last WEEK...last fucking WEEK...

Quote
Holland racked up 16 tackles, 11 solos, had an interception, a pass break-up, a forced fumble and three quarterback-pressures in Pelham's 35-24 win over Thompson. This season, Holland has 101 tackles (16.8 per game.), 12 tackles-for-loss, a sack, four pass break-ups, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.

This dude needs to be rated higher...his stats are SICK...

Naaa...he's committed to Auburn. If anything, he needs to lose a star.

Seriously, 100 tackles by the season's end is impressive as hayull.  What...6 games?

I'm hearing, of course from the skreets, that Jake Holland along with Shon Coleman and Shaun Kitchens will get their deserved bump in the ratings.  BTW, 3* Coleman is the LT (blindside) and 4* Damian Robinson is the RT and word coming outta Olive Branch is that Coleman is a better OL than Robinson.....but yet, he's a 3* per Rivals.

Shon Coleman got his bump today going from outside the Rivals Top 250 to the #76 rated prospect in the country, btw Damian Robinson is the #79 rated prospect.  Word is, Jake Holland should get his bump into the Top 250 tomorrow, possibly Shaun Kitchens and maybe DJ Howard too.

From what I've seen on some boards, Shon Coleman is wavering a bit in his commitment to Auburn. Supposedly he is taking a little harder look at Alabama. What say you?

I say not going to happen, remember Coach sabbin don't want no Auburn recruits....remember, that's what your inbred fanbase keeps repeating every year whenever Auburn lands a prospect that didn't have a bammer offer.  Again, I don't think it'll happen, but like I said when Auburn landed him...you know, when he didn't have any stars and when the bammers where laughing at his commitment and saying that he wasn't even good enough to garner any stars...that Auburn's going to have to fight to keep him, because he is that good.

Generally, when you don't offer somebody, that means you don't want them. So, when somebody says Alabama didn't want an Auburn player that Alabama didn't offer.....thats probably pretty accurate. I think its equally stupid for you to say that CNS never ever wants somebody that AU has. See: Petey Smith, Atchison, Willis, etc. I mean, I guess any guy we land that Auburn didn't offer we can go ahead and say AU wanted him?

Jake Holland got his bump.....finally.  I'm not so sure on Shaun Kitchens getting a bump, I'll take him either way...just like I stated that I'd take Shon Coleman when he was a 3*.

I was thinking that would happen after they seemed to like him at the Under Armour practices.

They listed him "honorable mention" twice.  One for "Nitro team defense" and the other for "stock rising".

Yeah, the "stock rising" kind of tipped us off that he may move up.

http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1035117 (http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1035117)

http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1035297 (http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1035297)

And this write up sounds pretty damn good too given the competition he was with.

Quote
Though Jake Holland of Pelham, Ala., is the only inside linebacker on the team, he is incredibly strong and has proven he can stop the run. He also has five interceptions on the week and will make the quarterbacks think twice about throwing over the middle. Benson will also spend some time on the inside.

With the quickness of the linebackers on Team Nitro, any team would struggle with them. Though all the outside players are a bit undersized, Holland is an anchor in the middle.

Ed Christian dropped from a 4* to a 3* today.

Kenneth Carter has been been (or will be soon) bumped from a 3 to a 4.
