WHNT, NewsChannel 19 has learned that former Auburn University head football coach, Terry Bowden, will be the next head football coach at University of North Alabama.

Terry Bowden was the Division I coach of the year in 1993 while at Auburn. He became the first head coach in Division IA history to lead his squad to an undefeated season in his first year at the school.

He also posted 46 wins and 16 losses during his coaching career at Auburn University.

He is the son of Florida State head football coach, Bobby Bowden, and former Clemson head football coach, Tommy Bowden.

Bowden will be introduced to the public and media tomorrow at the UNA Performance Center at 11:00 A.M.
