Post by: Snaggletiger on February 03, 2020, 04:10:32 PM: It looks like we have room for 2 more we can sign this week. One that I've been reading about is D-tackle, Marquis Burks, a JUCO player in Iowa. I'm kind of thinking he's a warm body that we can use to fill out the class and be someone that they might could develop.

He's a 3* and most experts think he signs with us. We are battling it out for his services against the likes of Coastal Carolina, Liberty and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. Typical of most recruiting sites, the 3 I saw listed him at 6'3" 285....6'3" 295 and 6'5" 275.

Another name.....and I do mean, name, that we could see putting pen to AU paper is a 6'1" 190 DB who has played 1 year at Butler CC. Alfahiym Walcott. The 3* had 70 tackles and 3 interceptions this past season. That would be the extent of what I could find on him. All in all, it should be a very quiet signing day.

We'll land at #7 in the overall recruiting rankings according to 247. Pretty dang skippy!!! Except for the fact that it puts us at #5 in the SEC.
