We're doing mostly traditional stuff. Your turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls. Plus pumpkin and pecan pie.
I was going to contribute a salted caramel apple pie, but with already having two pies and only six people, it might be a little much.
They want me to make the appetizer, but I'm not sure what I want to make yet.

Heck...my famous smoked Turkey will be on tap for our dinner for 4 this year.
and I'm either making a Pear or Apple pie with a salted caramel topping.
Originally, we were heading to the coast for camping but the weather forecast calls for uber nasty rains and winds.

Cornish hen slow cooked on the grill with the regular sides. Just the Mrs. and I staying home.
Playing golf Friday and Sat, in return for this freedom I am surrendering my man card on Sunday and going to see "Sound of music" on the big screen. Only good thing is the place serves beer and food, so by the time the hills are alive I should be well lubricated.

Just one thing...no matter what you do, a sweet potato casserole without at least 2 of the 3 - brown sugar, pecans, marshmallows - is useless and should be given to the dog. That is all.

This man knows. I prefer all 3 but will take two of the three. Oh, and why do you hate your dog? He doesn't want to eat that shit either.
We are doing the traditional, Turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole...etc...etc...etc.

The usual trip over to Snagette's family for the same buffet. Turkey and dressing, honey glazed ham, collard greens, rice and giblet gravy, cat head biscuits and an assortment of pies and cakes. Sweet tea to wash it all down. All the while, FIL will have the fire in the wood burning heater stoked so high that you break a sweat and all your bloated, fat ass can do after dinner is roll up on the couch, belch and nap while the Lions and Cowboys play on TV.
Good times.

Some damn good games on too.
Bears/Lions - old rivalry, sorta good.
Cowboys/Eagles - classic, for the lead in the NFC East
49ers/Seahawks - best two teams in the league the last 2 years. And still are on paper.

SEC Schizo Bowl Part 23 this year. No joke.
